| Google Nexus Prime, First Ice Cream Sandwich Smartphone By Samsung Posted: 27 Jun 2011 08:40 AM PDT We heard a while back that Google were working on a new Nexus smartphone, the new came from the BGR, and now according to their latest report Google’s first Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone will be called the Nexus Prime, and it will apparently be manufacturer by Samsung. As in the previous report the display is expected to feature a 720p resolution, and it looks like it will be called a Super AMOLED HD display, and it will also feature a dual core 1.2GHz or 1.5Ghz OMAP 4460 processor.

| Capcom Adds One-Save Feature To Games To Combat Used Game Sales? Posted: 27 Jun 2011 07:50 AM PDT According to a new report Capcom has added a couple of new features to its Nintendo 3DS game Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D which could have a huge impact on used game sales if its rolled out to all new games. The feature restricts the resetting of the games saved data and will only use one file and made it impossible for users to delete their save data. Pictures show that the US and UK version of the game’s manual reads: “saved data on this software cannot be reset”. | Fujitsu TH40/D Convertible Tablet Delayed Posted: 27 Jun 2011 05:03 AM PDT Some of our readers will remember the Fujitsu TH40/D convertible tablet that was announced back in May, the tablet featured a 10.1 inch multi touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, and it can transform into a notebook computer as it features a built in slide out keyboard. It looks like the Fujitsu TH40/D has now been delayed, we were expecting it to launch at the end of June in Japan, but now it looks like it has been delayed indefinitely, and there don’t seem to be any information on when it will actually go one sale. Fujitsu is reported to have said that ‘development delays’ are behind the hold up, although that really doesn’t give us much information, on when this Windows 7 convertible tablet will launch. Other feature on the Fujitsu TH40/D include an Intel Oak Trail Atom 5670 1.5GHz processor, and 1GB of RAM, plus 120GB of storage, although depending on when it actually goes on sale these specifications could have changed by them Source Ubergizmo

| Star Wars Galaxies Servers Closing, Losing The Force December 15th 2011 Posted: 27 Jun 2011 04:54 AM PDT Sony has announced that its Star Wars Galaxies online game servers will be permanently closing on December 15th 2011. But not due to the lack of players as you might think but due to its contract to run the Star Wars game running out in 2012. Players with current active Star Wars Galaxies accounts will be given full access to several other games from Sony’s line-up from October 15 to December 31 for free. Star Wars fans will also soon be able to play BioWare's Star Wars: The Old Republic which is scheduled for release towards the end of this year or early in to 2012. | Nokia N5 Symbian Anna Smartphone Leaked Posted: 27 Jun 2011 03:59 AM PDT Last week we say the new Nokia Windows Phone 7 smartphone leaked, and now the guys over at GSM Arena have managed to get their hands on a yet to be announced Symbian smartphone from Nokia, the Nokia N5. According to the report the New Nokia N5 shares a similar designed to the Nokia N9, and it is based on an updated version of Symbian Anna, and it will apparently come in both black and white versions.

The LG Giles 3D glasses will only work with LG 3D TVs as they use the same polarizes lenses that can be found in the 3D glasses in cinemas throughout the UK, at least you will be able to wear them the next time you go to the cinema.

| Apple’s iCloud Won’t Feature iDisk And iWeb MobileMe Services Posted: 27 Jun 2011 02:58 AM PDT Apple has released more information on its new iCloud service which will replace Apple’s MobileMe service when it is released in the fall, and now we know that two MobileMe service will not be available in iCloud, Apple will discontinue iDisk and iWeb. Apple will also discontinue their MobileMe gallery feature in iDisk, although this will be replaced with ‘Photo Stream’ in iCloud, and apple has also released some information about how the transition between the two services will work.

| HP TouchPad With 7 Inch Display Launching In August? We know that HP has other TouchPad models in the work, and have even heard a rumor of a 7 inch TouchPad before, but now according the Taiwan Economic News, HP has ordered around 400,ooo to 500,000 TouchPad tablets per month from Inventec, and the order is reported to include a 7 inch version of the TouchPad as well as the existing model.

| Facebook Hits 750 Million Users Posted: 27 Jun 2011 02:17 AM PDT It wasn’t that long ago that Facebook announced they had over 500 million users, just under a year, and now it seems that the world’s largest social network has hit a new milestone and now has a reported 750 million users. This has yet to be confirmed by Facebook, but according to Tech Crunch who received the information from a source close to Facebook there are now more than 750 million users on Facebook.

Unfortunately the photo’s seems to be a little blurry, but they also managed to get some specifications, which include a new 12 megapixel sensor which has apparently been developed in house by Olympus.

| LulzSec Ends Its Hacking Campaign Posted: 27 Jun 2011 01:19 AM PDT Hacking group LulzSec has announced that it putting an end to its hacking campaign that has seen a number of sites hacked, including those of Sony and also some government agencies. The group announced on Pastebin that they would be ceasing their hacking activities, the news comes shortly after a 19 year old was arrested in the UK, who the authorities claim is linked to the group, although LulzSec has denied that he has any involvement.

| 2011 MacBook Air Coming Next Month, More Evidence Revealed Posted: 27 Jun 2011 01:03 AM PDT We heard earlier this month that Apple may launch the 2011 MacBook Air in July, and also heard that they will release it shortly after Mac OS X Lion goes on sale which is also scheduled for a July release. Not it would seem that supplies of the current MacBook Air are drying up, as Best Buy’s online store has listed the current MackBook Air as ‘not available’, which is more evidence that a new model is coming.

| Apple Releases iOS 5 Beta 2 For Developers Posted: 27 Jun 2011 12:47 AM PDT Apple has released the latest beta version of iOS 5 to developers, iOS 5 Beta 2, as well as another beta version of iTunes, iTunes 10.5, and the latest version lets developers test one of the major new features in iOS 5, wireless syncing. On top of that Apple also released a new beta of the AppleTV 2.0 software, and there are a total of nine distributions of the latest iOS 5 beta, which include three versions for the iPad, one for the iPhone 3Gs, two for the iPhone 4 and two for the iPod Touch 3G and 4G.

| PS3 And iPhone Hacker GeoHot Now Working At Facebook Posted: 26 Jun 2011 11:38 PM PDT GeoHot or George Hotz has been pretty quiet since the recent lawsuit against him by Sony ended, and now it seems there may be a reason for this as it would appear he is now working for Facebook. According to Tech Unwrapped, they found a video which confirms that GeoHot is now working at Facebook, and then Gabe Rivera from Techmeme noticed a status update on GeoHot’s Facebook page which confirms he is working there.

| Skype For iPad Coming This Week (Video) Posted: 26 Jun 2011 11:22 PM PDT Skype posted a video on YouTube last Friday, which has subsequently been made private that shows a new Skype iPad app, luckily someone managed to get their hands on the video, and the guys from Razorianfly have uploaded it to YouTube. It looks like Skype intends to take on Apple’s FaceTime on the iPad 2 with their new Skype app, which is expected to be officially launched tomorrow, have a look at the video of it in action below.

Anyway, the long and short of it is there’s a band of LED light that glows when the plug is powered on. When switched off, it offs, and the plug can be pulled. The genius behind this concept is Goonglue Jang and it’s somehow useful in a world that’s caught between the wired conventions and the wireless revolution.
