| Goatse Hacker Pleads Guilty To AT&T IPad Hack Posted: 24 Jun 2011 06:07 AM PDT Some of our readers will remember about a year ago a group called Goatse Security hacked the email accounts of 114,000 users on the iPad with AT&T, the details were then published on the web after Goatse claimed that they had alerted AT&T and they had done nothing about it. The FBI started looking into the security breach shortly after it happened, and one if the hackers was subsequently arrested after he surrendered himself to the authorities in January this year, he has now pleaded guilty to a number of US federal charges.

| Winkelvoss Twins Are Suing Facebook Again Posted: 24 Jun 2011 05:18 AM PDT Yesterday we heard that the Winkelvoss twins had decided to agree to the settlement with Facebook for $65 million and drop their case against Facebook in the supreme court, now you would think that would be the end of the matter between Facebook and the Winkelvoss twins. Now according to the LA Times, the Winkelvoss Twins are taking Facebook to court again, this time they are accusing Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg of not turning over important information to them during litigation.

Hardware wide, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a 10.1 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, there is also a dual core 1GHz processor, a three megapixel camera on the rear and a two megapixel camera up front, you also get to chose between 16GB or 32GB of storage.

The HTC Evo View 4G tablet features a 7 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, it also feature dual cameras with a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front for video chat and a five megapixel camera on the back for videos and photos.

| Apple Approves SpyKey Keylogger App For iOS Posted: 24 Jun 2011 01:08 AM PDT Apple has come under criticism in the past for some of the applications that it has approved for its iOS app store, the latest one which has dubious functionality is called SpyKey, and the developer of the app describes it as ‘the only app that let you monitor your PC Keyboard activity in real-time’. The application also comes with software that you have to install on your PC, called a server application, once it is installed you can then connect your iPhone to your PC and it will log anything that is typed on the PC on your iPhone’s display.

| More Evidence That The 2011 Mac Pro Will Launch Soon Posted: 24 Jun 2011 12:58 AM PDT On Monday we heard a rumor that Apple are getting ready to launch the 2011 Mac Pro, and it could go on sale some time in August, now more evidence has appeared which point to a Mac Pro refresh. According to the guys over at 9 To 5 Mac, who’s source has reportedly seen some internal Apple documents relating to the Mac Pro refresh, Apple will be releasing a new Mac Pro with 16 cores. Other models reported to be available as well as a 16 core Mac Pro, include a 6 core model, an 8 core model and a 12 core model, which are similar to the existing models. A 16 core Mac Pro sounds impressive and we suspect it is going to be capable of some serious performance, and will probably also have a fairly hefty price tag.
