LEGO has announced a new Technic set that is to celebrate the 60th anniversary of a car I had never heard of called the Mercedes Unimog. The browsers to be axed include : Firefox 3.5, Internet Explorer 7, and Safari 3 and Google warns if you continue using the browsers to access Google App they may cause problems with certain features in Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Docs and Google Sites, and eventually these apps may stop working entirely. Sony NGP To Be Called The PS Vita? One of the guys from the NeoGaf forums spotted a reference to ‘PS Vita’ in the source code of Sony’s PlayStation website, and the guys over at Kotaku have also discovered that Sony owns the trademark for the PS Vita name. According to TUAW, some Airport Express models are out of stock, as well as the AirPort Extreme and Apple’s Time Capsule, is this just a coincidence? Google announced their new Google Offers service back in April and started taking orders for coupons in New York, San Francisco and areas of Portland shortly after. The new service has been developed to compete with Groupon and was started after Google missed out on purchasing the Groupon company for an estimated $6 billion. Apple Takes Over iCloud.com Domain Posted: 02 Jun 2011 04:25 AM PDT We heard earlier today that Apple has filed for the iCloud trademarks in Europe, they purchased the iCloud.com domain name a while back, but it remained registered to the previous owner until now. Apple purchased iCloud.com from Xcerion for a reported $4.5 million, and the company renamed their cloud service CloudMe, and have also transferred the trademarks for iCloud in the US to Apple. To be able to benefit from the new tethering Vodafone customers must be on one of the new pricing plans revealed today. Latest Mac Defender Malware Bypasses Apple’s Security Update Posted: 02 Jun 2011 02:25 AM PDT Yesterday Apple released their software update to deal with the Mac Defender malware that has been causing Mac users problems over the last few weeks, and now it seems that another version of the malware has been released which bypasses Apple’s latest security update. According to Zdnet, the new version of the malware is called Mdinstall.pkg, and it has been specifically designed to get past Apple’s latest malware blocking code. Apple Files iCloud Trademarks In Europe Posted: 02 Jun 2011 12:16 AM PDT Apple has filed trademark applications in Europe, for its new iCloud service which will officially be unveiled at next weeks World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC 2011), which will begin on Monday the 6th of June. Apple has filed the iCloud trademark under 12 different classes which cover a wide range of things which include online social networking, electronic storage, digital music, computer software, electronic books and magazines and many more. We are expecting Apple to announce music streaming with its new iCloud service next Monday, and we have also heard that Apple may introduce video streaming some time in the future. From the looks of all the different categories Apple has applied for the patents for, it would seem that Apple has much bigger plans for their iCloud service that just music and video streaming.
