Toshiba has a bunch of new notebooks that it has been rolling out to consumers over the last month or so to join its already substantial line of offerings. 92 Inch Mitsubishi 840 3D DLP Home Cinema TV For Just $5,999

The new Mitsubishi 840 3D DLP Home Cinema TV uses DLP rear-projection technology which allows the price to be kept competitive when compared to other similar sized TV’s created by other manufactures. For example an 85 inch Panasonic LCD TV will cost you around $22,000 and thats with a screen that is 7 inches smaller than the 840 TV.

Foursquare Hits 10 Million Registered Users (infographic)

Today Foursquare has officially announced it has now 10 million registered users and in celebration has created an infographic to show their user base together with an animated world map showing the signup trends over the life of the site.

Foursquare hasn’t  released its active user based but 10 million registered accounts is a great accomplishment, and the current demographic breakdown is roughly 50/50 male versus female and 50/50 for international versus U.S. with around 358 million international check-ins.

Logitech And GN Netcom-Jabra Team Up To Create New Range

Logitech has today announced a new partnership between themselves and GN Netcom to expand their range to include selected headsets and speakerphones from GN Netcom's award-winning Jabra line.

The new range of devices will be available to purchase in North America beginning in July 2011 and will include a Logitech BSP420 USB Speakerphone, BH970 Wireless DECT Headset and BH870 Wireless Bluetooth Headset. The new products have been Logitech BSP420 USB Speakerphone.

iPhone 5 Coming In August?

According to the BGR, the iPhone 5 may launch in August, not September that has been reported before, and as we mentioned previously it is expected to be a major update over the existing iPhone 4 with a new design.

If the rumor turns out to be true, Apple could hold an iPhone 5 event in the beginning or middle of August, and it will apparently go on sale in the last week of August.

Nokia C2-03 Dual SIM Phone Announced

Nokia has added another dual SIM phone to its range with the launch of the Nokia C2-03, which features a touchscreen display and a sliding numeric keyboard, and the display features a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.

The Nokia C2-03 comes with 10MB of built in memory, there is also a microSD card slot that can take up to a 32GB card, and it features a 2 megapixel camera.

iPhone 4 Is Now Flickr’s Most Popular Camera

It seems that the most popular camera on Flickr is now held by a smartphone and not a high end DSLR, as the iPhone 4 has now taken the top spot for the most used camera on the photo sharing site.

The Nikon D90 used to the the most popular but that has now been replaced by the iPhone 4, and the iPhone 4 is the only smartphone on the list of the top 5 cameras for taking photos and submitting them to Flickr.

Nokia N9 MeeGo Smartphone To Cost $660

Earlier today Nokia announced the new Nokia N9 MeeGo smartphone, but when it was announced Nokia didn’t reveal any pricing for either model, and now according to the guys over at SmashPop, the 16GB Nokia N9 will cost $660 and the 64GB Nokia N9 will cost $749, the pricing information was revealed at the Nokia event today by Colin Giles, who is Nokia’s EVP of sales.

The Nokia N9 features a 1GHz Cortex A8 OMAP 3630 processor, plus 1GB of RAM, there is also a 3.9 inch AMOLED multi-touch display, which feature curved Gorilla Glass.

Apple Time Capsule Upgraded To 3TB

We heard earlier that Apple would be releasing a new version of its Time Capsule with 3TB of storage, and it looks like the are about to appear on Apple’s website from the photo below, although when you go to the Apple store online it is still showing the 1TB and 2TB models.

From the photo it looks like Apple will be phasing out the 1TB model, and there will only be 2TB and 3TB models available when the new one is released, and it should be available some time today.

Apple Releases Final Cut Pro X, Now Available From Mac App Store

Apple has officially launched Final Cut Pro X and it is now available to download from the Mac App Store for $299.99, and this new version of Apple’s Final Cut has had a complete overhaul from the previous version.

Final Cut Pro X is capable of rendering in the background, enabling users to be able to edit on the fly. It will also come with 64bit support and can also  handle 4K clips on 8 core editing rigs.

19 Year Old Suspected LulzSec Hacker Arrested In The UK (Updated)

According to Channel 4 News here in the UK a 19 year old has been arrested in connection with the hacking group LulzSec, who have been responsible for a number of hacks on Sony, government agencies and other companies.

Channel 4 News made the announcement on Twitter, and it seems the Metropolitan Police here in the UK have also released a statement, although they have not confirmed whether the individual arrested is connected to LulzSec.

Student Builds Duo Adept 8-bit Computer From Scratch (Video)

High school student Jack Eisenmann has built his own 8-bit computer from scratch, and he designed everything himself including the OS, and it took jack about a year to complete it.

The Duo Adept features 100 hundred chips which have been connected with a lot wiring, there is also 256 bytes of RAM and 64KB of memory, and it features a custom OS with a total of 263 lines of code, have a look at the video of it in action below.

Microsoft Updates SkyDrive Cloud Storage Service To HTML5

Microsoft have this week rolled out a new upgrade to their Dropbox style SkyDrive service which has taken the cloud storage solutions away from Microsoft Silverlight and replaced it with HTML5.

Last week we heard that Apple are getting ready to launch a new Time Capsule and also a new AirPort Extreme, the details were uncovered by the guys over at 9 to 5 Mac, and now they have some more information on both of the new Apple devices.

Both the New AirPort Extreme and the new Time Capsule are expected to go on sale any day now, and the AirPort Extreme will come in a single configuration whilst the new Time Capsule will be available with 2TB and 3TB of storage.

Team Fortress 2 Uber Update Launched By Valve

Today Valve has rolled out a new Uber Update to their Team Fortress 2 game which Valve say is ” the biggest, most ambitious update ” in the history of the game. The update will roll out over the next couple of days and todays has detailed two new class packs for the Heavy and Spy that are Mafia based and allow you to join the “family business.”.

Each class pack has three new items for the Heavy with the  Tomislav Minigun, The Eviction Notice Fist upgrade and The Family Business shotgun. Together with three new items for the Spy with the The Enforcer revolver, The Big Earner knife and the The Made Man which is a flower that can be dropped on your victims.

LG Machjet LPP6010N Is The World’s Fastest A4 Color Printer

LG has added a new printer to its range with the launch of the LG Machjet LPP6010N, which according to LG is the worlds fastest a4 color desktop printer, and it is capable of printing 60 pages per minute in a 1600 x 800 DPI resolution.

The LG Machjet features technology from Memjet, which they call the Page Straight Array (PSA) Technology, which features more than 70,000 ink nozzles on one print head, which is about 17 time the density on normal printers.

Samsung NC215S Solar Powered Netbook Arriving In The US July 3rd

If you live in the US and have been thinking of upgrading to an environmentally friendly solar powered netbook. You will be pleased to know that Samsung are shortly going to be shipping their new Samsung NC215S Solar Powered netbook to the US and Russia.

The solar powered netbook will be arriving in the US on July 3rd and is equipped with a solar panel that is capable of generating enough power in two hours of sunlight to power the netbook for an hour. Samsung also states that with a full charged battery the Samsung NC215S netbook should be able to provide up to 14 hours of use.

Nokia Play 360 Speaker Use NFC With Your Nokia N9 MeeGo (Video)

When Nokia announced the new N9 MeeGo earlier today they also announced a range of accessories for the handset, one of those is the new Nokia Play 360 speaker which can be paired with your Nokia N9 via NFC (Near Field Communication).

The Nokia Play 360 features Bluetooth built in and you can stream music wirelessly direct to the Nokia Play 360 from your Nokia N9 MeeGo, plus you can also use more that one speaker at once, so you could have a couple set up.

Nokia N9 MeeGo Smartphone Gets Official (Video)

We have been hearing quite a bit about the Nokia N9 over the last week and now Nokia has now officially announced the Nokia N9 MeeGo smartphone, which features a 3.9 inch multi-touch AMOLED display with curved Gorilla Glass and the N9 is Nokia’s first and last MeeGo smartphone.

The Nokia N9 features a uni-body design and the body of the smartphone is made from a polycarbonate material, there is also an 8 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, plus built in auto-focus and touch to focus, processing is provided by an ARM Cortex A8 OMAP3630 1GHz processor.

Android Honeycomb 3.2 Coming Soon

Yesterday Huawei announced their new MediaPad tablet, and also announced that it would come with Android 3.2, this was the first we had heard about Honeycomb 3.2 and now we have some more details on the latest version of Google’s mobile and tablet operating system.

Android Honeycomb 3.2 will come with a range of new features, including support for multiple display sizes including 7 inch tablets, and it will also offer support for Qualcomm processors as well as NVIDIA Tegra 2 processors.

Microsoft Porting Zune Apps To WP7

Say what you will about the Zune in general, from the brown first-gen hardware to the doomed WiFi sharing gimmick, but the Zune HD was some decent hardware coupled with some really polished apps. And as such, it was a fitting swan song for an entertainment device that arrived just as smartphones and tablets came into their own as  entertainment devices to end them all. Microsoft, however, is intent on salvaging whatever it can from the experiment.

Purported Nokia N9 Lankku Shots Surface

What seem to be the the first  shots of Nokia’s first MeeGo-powered device in the wild (quite a few firsts there, Nokia) have slipped out into the open, revealing that Nokia intends to be pretty consistent in its chosen design direction and… not much else. Unless you count smudged fingerprints as groundbreaking news.
