You can then let it download at your leisure to be access later. Once initiated the file download process places the file in your main Drop directory, rather than to one of your shared folders, which would allow everyone to then view your file. | Scalado, Camera Rewind App Enables You To Create The Perfect Group Photo (video) Posted: 13 Jun 2011 08:19 AM PDT If you have every tried to take a group photo you will have already experienced the problems trying to get everyone to smile at the same time and as the shutter snaps, which is magnified by the number of people you have to photograph. A new application called Rewind developed by Scalado hopes to makes these problems a thing of the past. Scalado’s Rewind app takes a burst of 5 images and then allows you to select the best facial expressions of your targets, before finally combining them into one perfect group image. | The Sofa Bike Looks Like A Fun Way To Travel (Video) Posted: 13 Jun 2011 07:59 AM PDT We have see quite a few different DIY modes of transport here at Geeky Gadgets, including some sofa’s with engines in them, but I think this is probably the first sofa bike we have featured. The Sofa Bike is the creation of Jacek Holubowicz, it was recently displayed at the International Design Festival in Berlin, and it features two separate 8 gear hubs, hydraulic brakes which are operated by the front handelbar and dynamic chain steering.

The new router also brings with it one touch button security and Wi-Fi setup; simply press the WPS button on the TEW-692GR, and then press the WPS button on a compatible wireless adapter, the two devices will then automatically exchange information and connect. | Apple Confirms Some Verizon iPad 2′s Recalled Posted: 13 Jun 2011 07:43 AM PDT We have been hearing rumors over the last couple of days that Apple had recalled some iPad 2′s that had been shipped out to Verizon Wireless, Apple has now confirmed that a small number of iPad 2′s have been recalled. Apple recently told Reuters that a small number of iPad 2′s had been shipped to Verizon containing the same MEID numbers, which is supposed to be a unique number for each device.

| HP TouchPad Accessory Pricing Announced Posted: 13 Jun 2011 06:35 AM PDT HP has released details on its range of official accessories for the new HP TouchPad tablet, there will be a power charger, a charging dock, a wireless keyboard and a TouchPad case. The power charger will retail for $29.99 and this is a 10w charger, the charging dock will retail for $79.99, and it is an inductive charging dock, so your TouchPad tablet can be charged when it is placed in the dock and used in both portrait and landscape modes.

| Sputnik 0667 PC Mod By Love Hulten Posted: 13 Jun 2011 05:11 AM PDT We have featured quite a few different PC mods here at Geeky Gadgets, the latest one is is the creation of Love Hulten from Sweden, and he describes the Sputnik 0667 as “a computer combined with the beauty of arts and crafts, inspired by the 20th century and old hi-fi.” As you can see from the photos below, the front of the bureau is folded down to reveal the computer display and also the keyboard, unfortunately we don’t have many details on what components were used inside this cool PC mod.

| Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2 Coming In 2012 With Windows 8 Posted: 13 Jun 2011 04:57 AM PDT The new Asus Eee Pad Transformer only recently went on sale, and now it seems that Asus are working on the Eee Pad Transformer 2 and it is rumored to launch in 2012 and will reportedly come with Windows 8. According to French site Les Numeriques, Asus let the information slip at this years Computex, and they were told as well as an Android version of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2, there would also be a Windows 8 version.

| Sky TV UK Will Launch Its New Sky Go Mobile Service On July 6th Posted: 13 Jun 2011 03:42 AM PDT Sky has announced that next month it will be replacing its Sky Player and Sky mobile TV services with a new Sky online and mobile service called, Sky Go. Which will be launching on July 6th and will be free to existing Sky TV subscribers. The new Sky Go service will be available on online, via PCs, tablet devices and smartphones and Sky will allow customers to register two devices to access Sky Go content. If your not currently a Sky customer Sky Go will be available to non-Sky TV subscribers from August for between £15 and £40 per month. | iPhone 5 Hits Final Testing, Launching In September? According to a recent report by MacRumors, the iPhone 5 has entered the final stage of testing, which would indicate that Apple are getting ready to launch the iPhone 5 within the next few months.

| Codemasters Website Hacked, Customer Information Snatched Posted: 13 Jun 2011 02:42 AM PDT The UK games development Codemasters is the lastest gaming company to be targeted by hackers and has announced that its website was hacked on June 3rd 2011. The hackers were able to access registered customers account information and snatched email and house addresses, together with passwords, birthdays, phone numbers, Xbox gamer tags and customer biographies. But no payment information was taken during the hack according to Codemasters. | Spotify Signs US Deal With Universal Music Posted: 13 Jun 2011 01:09 AM PDT Last week we heard that Spotify were close to signing deals with record labels in the US, and now according to All Things D, Spotify has apparently signed a deal with Universal Music in the US. According to the report this is the third US deal Spotify has signed, which means that they just need one more label to have access to music from the four major record labels in the US.

| Unlocked iPhone 4′s To Be Available In The US This Week? Posted: 12 Jun 2011 11:30 PM PDT When the iPhone 4 went on sale in the UK last year it was available with a number of mobile carriers here in the UK, you could also purchase the iPhone 4 direct from the Apple store unlocked. This meant that you could use your existing mobile contract with the iPhone 4 or use a pay as you go SIM card with it, without being tied to any particular mobile carrier.

| Samsung Galaxy S II For AT&T Leaked Posted: 12 Jun 2011 11:16 PM PDT We knew that the new Samsung Galaxy S II would be heading to all the major US carriers, and now it seems Samsung has inadvertently confirmed it will be coming to AT&T, by posting a photo of an AT&T branded Samsung Galaxy S II on Facebook. As you can see in the photo below, the AT&T branded Samsung Galaxy S II was pictured with a HDMI dock, and as you can see from the photo below, the Samsung Galaxy S II for AT&T now features four capacitive touchscreen buttons on the bottom of the handset rather than the home button that we have seen on the current model.

| Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF3 Gets Official Posted: 12 Jun 2011 11:01 PM PDT We recently saw Panasonic’s latest micro four thirds leaked in a video, and Panasonic has now officially announced the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF3, which is the successor to the popular GF2. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF3 is 16 percent lighter and 16 percent smaller than its predecessor, and it features a 12.1 megapixel sensor, plus a 3 inch touchscreen display and it has an ISO range of 160 to 6400.
