Samsung Smart TV Owners Finally Get Verizon FiOS App

Samsung and Verizon wireless have announced that the FiOS TV application for Samsung’s line of 2012 smart TVs is finally available. The application was announced as being under development back in January. Using the app on a compatible Samsung smart TV or Blu-ray player, subscribers to Verizon FiOS TV service need no additional set-top box.

Facebook SDK 3.0 For iOS Now Available To Download

Facebook has today released version 3.0 of its iOS SDK, which will provide developers with even more tools to use to integrate Facebook even more deeply into Apple’s iOS.

Flow Makes Some High-End Wired Headphones Wireless

If you happen to own a set of the high-quality Beats Solo, Beats Studio, or Bose Quiet Comfort headphones and think they’re perfect other than the wire, you are in luck. A product is up on Kickstarter called Flow that will turn any of those headphones wireless. I can’t see why this accessory wouldn’t work with any headphones that have a removable cable using a standard 3.5 mm plug on one of the ear cups.

Plextor M5 Pro SSD With 94K IOPS 540MB/s Introduced

Plextor has today introduced a new addition to their range in the form of the M5 Pro Series solid state drive, which has been designed to provide high performance read write speeds, using the latest Marvell 88SS9187 Monet controller.

The new Plextor M5 Pro SSD will be available in storage capacities of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, and will be available to purchase in the middle of this month, although prices have still yet to be announced.

Sony Xperia Miro To Launch In The UK This Month

We recently found out some pricing details on the new Sony Xperia Miro, although we did not have an actual launch date for the device, but according to UK retailer the Carphone Warehouse, the Xperia Miro will go on sale in the UK later this month.

As a reminder the Sony Xperia Miro features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and it features a 3.5 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels.

Samsung Montage Headed To Sprint As The Samsung Array

The Samsung Montage is about launch on Virgin Mobile in the US, and not it looks like the device is also headed to Sprint as the Samsung Array, the Montage will land on Virgin Mobile in the 20th of August for $49.99.

Dell Launches First AH-IPS Monitor

Dell has today revealed a new addition to its range and its first AH-IPS display on its Japanese blog, ahead of any international announcements. However Dell has now made the International page available on their website with full specifications.

The Dell U2713HM is the first Advanced High Performance IPS display to be sold by Dell, and features a widescreen 16:9,  2,560 x 1,440 (WQHD) resolution, with a 178 degree  vertical / 178 degree horizontal viewing angle.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Leaked (Rumor)

We know that Samsung will unveil their new Galaxy Note 2 later this month, and now it would appear that we may have an actual photo of the device ahead of its official launch.

The photo below was posted on the Samsung Pakistan Facebook page, although it has now been removed, the text that came with the photo said “Picture perfect view made even more perfect with Samsung Galaxy S3,”, but as Engadget points out this is clearly not the S3.

Sony Launches SOEmote Facial Tracking Technology In EverQuest II (video)

HTC One S Dropped To $149 On T-Mobile

The HTC One S went on sale on US mobile carrier T-Mobile back in April for $199 and now T-Mobile has dropped the price of the handset on their network to $149.99.

The $149.99 price is when you sign up to a new two year agreement with T-Mobile, and the device comes with a 4.3 inch qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, processing is provided by a dual core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor.

iOS 6 Screen Resolution Hint’s At iPhone 5′s 4 inch Display

We have been hearing rumors over the last few weeks that the iPhone 5 would come with a larger display than the existing iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, the existing devices feature a 3.5 inch display whilst the iPhone 5 is rumored to come with a 4 inch display.

Now some evidence of the larger 4 inch display has been discovered in iOS 6, according to the guys over at 9 to 5 Mac iOS 6 can scale to a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels, which would tie in with a 4 inch display.

Google Nexus 7 Gets Overclocked And Benchmarked
