I’ll be completely honest with you. I’ve daydreamed of throat punching whoever is responsible for creating the official Facebook app for Android devices. It sucks so bad it’s hard to quantify the level of suck. If it’s not crashing randomly, it’s doing something else weird and generally getting on my nerves.

Star Wars Wampa Ice Scraper for Cold Geeky Morns

LG teases upcoming quad-core smartphone

Not too long ago, specs of LG's upcoming 4.7" Android quad-core phone leaked. Like most rumors and leaks, we have to take it with a grain of salt. You never know what’s true and what’s not. However IFA will be taking place next week and LG may have confirmed the devices themselves by creating a new website that gives some details.

T-Mobile allegedly cancels the Samsung Galaxy Note in US

Many people were surprised when T-Mobile decided to release the Galaxy Note in the US last month. This was nearly a year after the phone was launched internationally and seven months after it was launched by AT&T. Adding to the confusion was the fact that T-Mobile was releasing the Galaxy Note when the launch of its successor was only a month away.

Kodak to sell film business

It’s the end of an era for Kodak. The company is selling off its film arm in order to revive its fortunes. Kodak said on Thursday that it would sell its traditional off-the-shelf print-film business and several other businesses to raise additional cash as an auction of its digital patents continues on.

Dispatch Combines Several Internet Connections Together To Increase Browsing/Download Speeds (video)

When out an about its always convenient to jump on to a free Internet connection to download and browse the web, maybe in a coffee shop or similar. To do this we normally take a look at the available connections and choose the one with the strongest or fastest connection.

But wouldn’t it be great to combine a number of connections together from a single device to provide faster speeds when needed. Similar to the way you might have “shotgunned” older modems together to increase your internet connection speeds before broadband was widely available.

Fujifilm X-E1 Retro Compact Camera Image Leaked

An image of whats thought to be Fujifilm’s latest high-end compact camera has leaked on to the Internet today, revealing what the new Fujifilm X-E1 compact camera might look like once its officially launched.

Unfortunately no other specification have been leaked regards the camera technical details, however from the image it looks like the Fujifilm X-E1 will be fitted with a pop-up flash and come equipped with a previously unannounced 18-55mm zoom lens.

Samsung Galaxy S III Design Process Highlights Revealed (video)

Samsung has released a new video showing the design process behind their Galaxy S III smartphone, and the components that are required to create a state-of-art touchscreen smartphone.

To re-cap the Galaxy S III smartphone is equipped with a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen, sporting a HD 720p display resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and is available in either Marble White or Pebble Blue in either 16 GB or 32 GB versions.

Google Goggles Update Adds Support For Non-Autofocus Cameras And More

Google has rolled out a new update for their Goggles Android application bringing a number of new features and tweaks for users. Google’s latest Goggles App update has now added support for non-autofocus cameras, and the Search-from-camera feature within the app, no longer requires search history to be enabled.

Zotac Zbox Nano Updated With AMD Brazos 2.0 APU

Zotac has this week announced a new update to their Zbox Nano which is now equipped with a dual-core 1.7 GHz AMD Brazos 2.0 E2-1800 APU.

The new update also comes with AMD Radeon HD 7340 graphics supporting DirectX 11 gaming, together with high definition video playback. The Zbox Nano AD12 is available in two variations the standard vanilla AD12 and extra beefy AD12 Plus.
