Sci-Fi vehicles recreated in LEGO Posted: 11 Aug 2012 09:16 AM PDT You can make all sorts of cool things with LEGO bricks, but one of the coolest things is to recreate sci-fi settings and ships. They just look so awesomely geeky in LEGO form. Flicker user “_Tiler,” takes a minimal approach, creating sci-fi ships with a small amount of bricks. © Geeky Gadgets, 2012. | Permalink | Unauthorized duplication and or distribution of our content is strictly forbidden © Geeky Gadgets, 2012 |
DARPA’s floating CAAT tankboat hits the water Posted: 11 Aug 2012 08:59 AM PDT America’s navy has an amazing fleet, with giant, powerful ships. The problem is that they are confined to the water. DARPA’s new CAAT demonstrator can be a great addition to the military since it can travel on water or land. © Geeky Gadgets, 2012. | Permalink | Unauthorized duplication and or distribution of our content is strictly forbidden © Geeky Gadgets, 2012 |

Car dealer accidentally sells BMW for $1, then honors the sale Posted: 11 Aug 2012 08:32 AM PDT All kinds of items go on sale eventually. Many phones end up costing just $0.99 or are even free on contract. But do you expect to get a BMW for that price? Never. But it has happened this week in New Zealand. A car dealership named Stadium Cars, accidentally sold a 1994 blue BMW 320i online for just $1. © Geeky Gadgets, 2012. | Permalink | Unauthorized duplication and or distribution of our content is strictly forbidden © Geeky Gadgets, 2012 |
Eurocom introduces Scorpius laptop Posted: 11 Aug 2012 08:13 AM PDT Eurocom’s desktop replacement-level laptops are pretty amazing because of the overkill hardware that goes in them. The just-launched, 17.3-inch Scorpius is no exception. The Scorpius can carry two of NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 680M graphics chips with the full 4GB of video RAM a piece if you choose. I know, it’s awesome. © Geeky Gadgets, 2012. | Permalink | Unauthorized duplication and or distribution of our content is strictly forbidden © Geeky Gadgets, 2012 |
