Google Wallet App Receiving Third Party Features Similar To Apple’s Passbook (video)

Google has this announced plans to allow business to integrate services into its Google Wallet payment application. In a similar way to Microsoft and Apple have revealed with Microsoft’s Wallet Hub for Windows Phone 8, and Apple’s Passbook app for iOS 6.

Public Lab DIY Spectrometry Kit Hits Kickstarter (video)

A new project has started on the crowd funding site Kickstarter, which is a DIY kit that has been designed to help analyse materials and contaminants.

A10 Media PC Updated And Available In UK For £85

Some of our readers might remember the A10 Media PC we featured here on Geeky Gadgets back in July of this year. Well, its now been updated and its RAM doubled in the UK.

The A10 Media PC is now equipped with 1GB DDR3 of RAM and is powered by a Allwinner A10 processor, and is shipped running Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system.

Apple Requests 8 Samsung Devices Are Banned In The US

Earlier this week it was revealed that Apple has been awarded $1.05 billion in damages against Samsung by the jury within the patent infringement lawsuit.

Now Apple is looking to ban eight Samsung devices from the US that includes the Galaxy S 4G, Galaxy S2 AT&T, Galaxy S2 Skyrocket ,Galaxy S2 T-Mobile, Galaxy S2 Epic 4G, Galaxy S Showcase, Droid Charge, and Galaxy Prevail.

With the IFA Berlin show approaching fast and starting at the end of this month, its been rumoured that Samsung maybe gearing up to announce a new addition to their range of devices.

The new addition from Samsung is expected to be the Android powered Galaxy S Camera, which is rumoured to be equipped with a 16-megapixel sensor, and will be supplied running Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system.

Hisense Pulse Google TV Box Launching For $99

Battlefield 3: Armored Kill DLC Released Dates Announced

Electronic Arts has today announced the four release dates for its latest Battlefield 3: Armored Kill DLC content, which brings with it larger maps and plenty of heavy armour to battle with.

Battlefield 3: Armored Kill DLC will be arriving on the PS3 first launching next month on September 4th for Battlefield Premium members. Then Battlefield Premium subscribers who have a XBox 360 or PC will be able to start playing the new DLC on September 11th.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Specifications Leaked

Samsung Details Its New Series 7 And Series 5 All-in-one Windows 8 Systems

After first unveiling their new Series 7 and Series 5 all-in-one desktop systems back in Computex earlier this year. Samsung has now revealed specifications and prices for their Windows 8 systems.

Features of the Samsung Series 7 and Series 5 systems include redesigned keyboards which are now small enough to store underneath the display when not needed, together with a new gesture based user recognition feature. As well as 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 3 x USB 2.0 connections, 1 x HDMI and a media card reader.
