| International HTC One X Gets Android 4.0.4 And HTC Sense 4.1 Update In Germany Posted: 10 Aug 2012 05:39 AM PDT It looks like HTC has started rolling out their latest software update to the international HTC One X in Europe, as owners in the device have reported receiving a new software update in Germany. The update brings Android 4.0.4 to the HTC One X, plus the new version of HTC’s custom user interface, HTC Sense 4.1 which we heard about recently.

| Blizzard Says Battle.net Servers Have Been Hacked Posted: 10 Aug 2012 04:39 AM PDT Blizzard has announced that its Battle.net servers have been hacked, and Blizzard are advising all players in North America to change their login information. According to Blizzard there is no information as yet on whether anyone’s credit card information has been taken, and also no details on whether anyone’s personal details have bee taken.

| HTC One X+ Headed To UK As HTC Endeavour C2 Posted: 10 Aug 2012 03:49 AM PDT We recently heard that HTC would be launching a new version of their HTC One X smartphone in the US with mobile carrier T-Mobile, the device is rumored to be called the HTC One X+. Now according to a recent report by Stuff, the HTC One X+ is also headed to the UK, and it will apparently be called the HTC Endeavour C2 and will feature a faster quad core 1.7GHz processor than the original HTC One X.

| WiFi Plus Cellular Option Discovered In IOS 6 beta 4 Posted: 10 Aug 2012 03:37 AM PDT A new feature has been discovered in iOS 6 beta 4 called ‘WiFi Plus Cellular’, and according to the guys over at Apple Insider it is designed to let you use your cellular connections when your WiFi starts to slow down. When you WiFi connection starts to slow down or become congested, you iOS device will automatically switch over to your cellular connection, and is apparently designed to allow for seamless Facetime and other VoIP video services.

The committee will include all of thr four major US mobile carriers, including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon, as well a PayPal, Isis, Google and Verifone.

| Lenovo Working On Convertible Windows RT Tablet Posted: 10 Aug 2012 02:07 AM PDT Yesterday Lenovo unveiled their first Windows 8 tablet, the Lenovo ThinkPad 2, and now according to a recent report by the WSJ, Lenovo are also working on another Windows based tablet. The new tablet is rumored to be a convertible ARM based Windows RT device, which will be competing with Microsoft’s new Surface Tablet, and Lenovo are apparently working with NVIDIA on the device. As yet we do not have any specifications on the device, the device is expected to feature a keyboard that flips around to turn the device into a tablet, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know. According to the guys over at Android Central, the first stable build of CyanogenMod 9 for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (GSM version) has now been released.

One of the main new features in Google Translate for Android is image translation, you can now take a picture with your devices camera and it will translate the text, this feature only works with devices running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and above.

| HTC Thunderbolt And Desire S Android 4.0 Update Coming By End Of August Posted: 10 Aug 2012 12:31 AM PDT HTC has released some more details on which devices will be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update this month, HTC responded to user questions on Facebook, and two device will get the update before the end of August. Both the HTC Thunderbolt and the HT Desire S will be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update by the end of August, although no specific dates were given.

| IBM Interested IN RIM’s Enterprise Unit Posted: 10 Aug 2012 12:12 AM PDT According to a recent report by Bloomberg, IBM is interested in RIM’s enterprise services unit, and have made an informal approach to RIM about possibly acquiring the unit. RIM’s enterprise service unit operates a network of secure servers that are used to support RIM’s BlackBerry devices, although it looks like IBM are only interested in this unit and not RIM’s mobile phone division.

| Samsung’s Report Says Its Smartphones Would Be Better If They Were More Like The iPhone Posted: 10 Aug 2012 12:01 AM PDT Apple and Samsung are engaged in a patent lawsuit in the US, and the court case has revealed some interesting documents from both companies over the last week. Apple are basically accusing Samsung of copying the iPhone, and now a document has been allowed in the trial which could end up being damaging for Samsung.
