| Google Brings 27,000 Chromebooks To Schools In The US Posted: 26 Jan 2012 07:02 AM PST Google has announced that the company is bringing more than 27,0000 of its Chromebook notebooks to schools in the US, the news was announced at the Florida Educational Technology Conference. According to Google, hundreds of schools in 41 states across the US are using one or more of Google’s Chromebooks in the classroom, and they have also said that three school districts will have one available for each pupil, with a total of 27,000 going to Illinois, Iowa and South Carolina.

| LG Prada 3.0 Android Smartphone Hits The UK Tomorrow Posted: 26 Jan 2012 06:26 AM PST LG and Prada announced their latest smartphone a while back, and now it looks like the new LG Prada 3.0 will go on sale in the UK tomorrow, as UK mobile retailer Phones4U will be selling the handsets with a number of different mobile carriers. The LG Prada 3.0 features a 4.3 inch multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and it also comes with Android Gingerbread.

| Samsung Galaxy Nexus Headed To T-Mobile? Posted: 26 Jan 2012 06:12 AM PST It looks like Samsung and Google’s flagship Android 4.0 smartphone, could be headed to another mobile carrier in the US, T-Mobile, as some references to the device have been discovered by the guys over at Cellphone Signal. T-Mobile has yet to confirm whether they will sell the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on their network in the US, but it looks like one Samsung Android device with a 1280 x 720 display is headed to T-Mobile.

| Samsung Dismantles Its Galaxy Note Smartphone Tablet Hybrid For All To See Posted: 26 Jan 2012 05:59 AM PST Samsung has this week taken screwdriver to its own Galaxy Note tablet this week and dismantled it revealing its workings to the world. The Samusng Galaxy Note was originally announced by during IFA 2011 in Berlin and was later launched in late October 2011 in Europe. Last month, Samsung announced that 1 million Galaxy Notes were shipped in less than two months, and that Galaxy Note would be available in the US in 2012.

| AT&T Sells 9.4 Million Smartphones In Q4, 81 Percent Were iPhones Posted: 26 Jan 2012 05:53 AM PST US mobile carrier AT&T has announced its latest financial results which cover the last quarter of 2011, and the company sold a total of 9.4 smartphones in quarter four of 2011. Out of these 9.4 million smartphones sold, 7.6 million of them were iPhone’s, which means that out of all the smartphones that AT&T sold in the last quarter of 2011, 81 percent of these were Apple’s iPhone.

| Android Hits 39 Percent Of Tablet Market Share? Posted: 26 Jan 2012 04:27 AM PST Apple’s iPad has been dominating the tablet market for quite some time, now some new figures have been released which suggest that Google’s Android platform is becoming more popular amongst tablet owners. According to research firm Strategy Analytics, in the last quarter of 2011 Android’s share of the tablet market rose to 38 percent, whilst Apple’s dropped to 58 percent, down from 68 percent for the same period in 2010.

Now after a long development process and funding to the tune of around half a million Euros from dedicated fans of the Pandora console, its now available to pre-order. Which demonstrates whats possible when you combine the two to create a Holographic Games Engine. | Nokia Lumia 900 Hits AT&T 18th March For $99? Posted: 26 Jan 2012 12:36 AM PST AT&T and Nokia recently announced the first LTE Windows Phone device for the US, the Nokia Lumia 900, and now it would appear that we may have some details on pricing and an actual launch date. The guys from the BGR have received details on AT&T’s latest roadmap, and it would appear that the Lumia 900 will launch with AT&T on the 18th of March, and the handset will be available for $99 when you sign up to a new two year contract with the carrier.

Well, their makers have come up with yet another compact but powerful single board computer called the BeagleBone. The tiny device is anything but small when it comes to features as it is loaded with a 4GB microSD card with Angstrom Linux. The package also includes a MicroSD to SD adapter and a Mini-B USB cable, aside of course from the assembled BeagleBone.

| iPhone 5 Coming This Summer With 4 Inch Display? Posted: 26 Jan 2012 12:22 AM PST We haven’t had a good iPhone 5 rumor for some time, the latest one comes from the guys over at 9 to 5 Mac, who apparently received some information for a source at Foxconn in China. According to the report the iPhone 5 is ready for production, and it will feature a larger 4 inch display than the existing iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, with a larger footprint as well.

| HP To Make webOS Open Source By September Posted: 25 Jan 2012 11:28 PM PST HP has released details on when they will make their webOS platform open source, by September of this year HP will release Open webOS 1.0 under the Apache License. HP has also released the first part of its open source version of web OS, in the form of Enyo, which is the companies developer tool for writing applications that will run across multiple mobile devices.
