G-5 Stratocaster Unveiled, Created By Roland-Fender Partnership (video) Posted: 24 Jan 2012 08:34 AM PST Roland and Fender have today launched a new breed of guitar called the G-5 Stratocaster, which has been created from a partnership of the two companies. The new G-5 Stratocaster will be officially launching later this year in March, but Roland and Fender have today unveiled more details about their latest guitar. The new G-5 Stratocaster guitar is the second to have been created in a partnership between between Roland and Fender, following on from the 2007 VG Strat guitar. The G-5 Stratocaster is equipped with a Composite Object Sound Modeling (COSM) engine, the same technology fitted in the GR-55 Guitar Synthesiser. The new comes from the Indonesian equivalent of the FCC where the handset is listed as the Sony Ericsson Xperia U, although we suspect that the Ericsson branding will be dropped by launch and it will be called the Xperia U. The Microsoft Points virtual currency is used within the Xbox Live Marketplace, Games for Windows : Live Marketplace, Windows Live Gallery, and Zune online stores. The points system enables users to purchase new content without the need for a credit card. Microsoft points where introduced by Microsoft to help reduce the number of credit card transactions, on which it would need to pay the transaction fees. In the United States, roughly 80 points are equal to $1, and an 800 point arcade game would retail for $10 in real-world currency, in comparison.
