| Droid RAZR Maxx Lands On Verizon 26th January For $299 Posted: 24 Jan 2012 08:39 AM PST The Droid RAZR Maxx was announced earlier this month and now Verizon has announced that the handset will be available on its network from this Thursday the 26th of January. Verizon Wireless will be offering the Droid Razr Maxx for $299 when you sign up to a new two year contract with the carrier and it is basically a Droid Razr with a larger capacity battery.

| G-5 Stratocaster Unveiled, Created By Roland-Fender Partnership (video) Posted: 24 Jan 2012 08:34 AM PST Roland and Fender have today launched a new breed of guitar called the G-5 Stratocaster, which has been created from a partnership of the two companies. The new G-5 Stratocaster will be officially launching later this year in March, but Roland and Fender have today unveiled more details about their latest guitar. The new G-5 Stratocaster guitar is the second to have been created in a partnership between between Roland and Fender, following on from the 2007 VG Strat guitar. The G-5 Stratocaster is equipped with a Composite Object Sound Modeling (COSM) engine, the same technology fitted in the GR-55 Guitar Synthesiser. | Nokia Lumia 910 With 12 Megapixel Camera Coming To Europe In May? Posted: 24 Jan 2012 07:49 AM PST Earlier today we heard that the Nokia Lumia 900 would be available in the UK in June, the news came after the device appeared on a retailers website, the page has since been pulled. Now according to Eldar Murtzain, the device will be the Nokia Lumia 910, which is the European version of the 900, and it will come without 4G LTE and will feature a higher specification camera than the Lumia 900.

| White Nokia Lumia 800 On The Way? | Sony Xperia Kumquat To Launch As Sony Xperia U? Posted: 24 Jan 2012 03:15 AM PST Yesterday we saw a leaked photo and heard some specifications on a new Sony Xperia smartphone, the Sony Xperia ST25i Kumquat, and now it looks like that is the codename for the device and not its actual name, and it will be called the Sony Xperia U when it launches. The new comes from the Indonesian equivalent of the FCC where the handset is listed as the Sony Ericsson Xperia U, although we suspect that the Ericsson branding will be dropped by launch and it will be called the Xperia U.

| HTC Flyer To Get Android 4.0 ICS Update Before March? Posted: 24 Jan 2012 02:57 AM PST HTC recently released the Android 3.2 Honeycomb update for their HTC Flyer tablet, and now it would appear we have some information on when the Flyer will be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. One owner of a HTC Flyer was told by HTC support in France that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will be available for the Flyer before the end of quarter one, so that would mean March at the latest.

All of these various lawsuits are reported to be costing Apple a large amount of money, and now according to a recent report by Dan Lyons, Apple spent over $100 million on legal fees in their first patent case against HTC.

| Canon EOS C300 Launches In Japan January 31st Posted: 24 Jan 2012 01:59 AM PST Canon recently announced the Canon Eos C300 digital cinema camera, and now it looks like the device will launch in Japan on the 31st of January 2012, with a US release shortly after that date. The Canon EOS C300 features a Super 35mm CMOS sensor with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, and it will be available with either a Canon EF lens mount of a Cinema standard PL lens mount.

The Microsoft Points virtual currency is used within the Xbox Live Marketplace, Games for Windows : Live Marketplace, Windows Live Gallery, and Zune online stores. The points system enables users to purchase new content without the need for a credit card. Microsoft points where introduced by Microsoft to help reduce the number of credit card transactions, on which it would need to pay the transaction fees. In the United States, roughly 80 points are equal to $1, and an 800 point arcade game would retail for $10 in real-world currency, in comparison.
