Over 1.2 Billion Android And iOS Apps Downloaded In Last Week Of December Posted: 02 Jan 2012 11:33 PM PST According to a recent report by analytics firm Flurry, in the last week of December there were more than 1.2 billion Android and iOS apps downloaded, this is an increase of around 60 percent from earlier in December. According to the report, Christmas day was the largest single day for new device activations for both Android and iOS devices, and the period after this there was a significant increase in new app downloads. Apple Holding Media Event This Month?
