Now it would appear that they are getting closer to the release of the untethered jailbreak for the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2, and it could be released shortly.

| New Asus Transformer Prime With Super IPS+ Display In Action (Video) Posted: 13 Jan 2012 04:06 AM PST The other day Asus announced that they would be launching a new version of their NVIDIA Tegra 3 powered Transformer Prime tablet, the Transformer Prime TF700t. The main difference between the new Transformer Prime TF700T is that it features a much higher resolution display than the previous mode, with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, and a quad core 1.3GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, have a look at the video of it in action below.

| Xbox 360 Top Selling US Games Console In 2011 Posted: 13 Jan 2012 02:50 AM PST Microsoft’s Xbox 360 was the top selling games console in the US in 2012 according to a recent report, and Microsoft beat the second place console, the PS3 by a total of 2.7 million units in 2011. The report comes from research firm NPD who have also said that the majority of the top selling games of 2011 were for the Xbox 360, with 7 out of the top 1o being for the console.

| Google TV 3.0 Coming This Year Posted: 13 Jan 2012 02:02 AM PST It looks like Google intends to release annual software updates for its Google TV software, according to a recent report by Bloomberg, and we can expect to see the next version of Google TV, which we presume would be Google TV 3.0 launch by the end of 2012. Google have told Bloomberg that we can expect the third version of Google TV in the second half of 2012, although they didn’t reveal any details on what new features would be added to the service.

HTC recently acquired the majority stake in Beats Audio, and they have been integrating it into their latest smartphones, along with Beats headphones. HP also uses Beats Audio in their range of notebooks.

The new concept watch has been created by master watch maker Vincent Perriard & Co and is called the HYT H1 and comes with the hefty price tag of $45,000, with a titanium case. The unique mechanics of the Vincent Perriard & Co’s HYT H1 uses liquid-driven pistons as well as gears to tell the time. | OnLive Windows Virtual Desktop App Lands On The iPad Posted: 13 Jan 2012 01:19 AM PST The other day OnLive announced a new application for the iPad, the OnLive Desktop, which is a cloud based app that will let you run a Windows 7 desktop on your Apple iPad. OnLive has now released the app and it is available to download for the iPad from the US iTunes store, at the time of writing it only seems to be available in the US store at the moment.

| Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0N Launched In Germany Posted: 13 Jan 2012 12:48 AM PST Samsung’s original Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet was initially banned in Germany, after a lawsuit between Apple and Samsung, and then Samsung released a new version of the tablet in Germany with a number of design changes, which the court agreed to, the Galaxy Tab 10.1N. Now Samsung has released a new version of its Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus in Germany, which you can see in the photo below, the Galaxy Tab 7.0N, which shares the same specifications as the original tablet.

| Microsoft Signs Android Patent Deal With LG Posted: 13 Jan 2012 12:40 AM PST The latest company to sign a patent licensing deal with Microsoft for patents related to Google’s Android OS is LG, Microsoft has announced that they have signed a deal with LG for patents relating to Google’s Android and Google’s Chrome OS. Microsoft have not disclosed the contents of the agreement, although we suspect that the deal is similar to other manufacturers with LG paying Microsoft a fee for every Android or Chrome device it sells.

| TOOB System Brings IMAX To The Family Living Room Posted: 12 Jan 2012 11:00 PM PST That’s TOOB for ‘Think Out of Box’, and the latest from the company is TOOB Earth. It’s a relatively new variant of a dome display scaled down for personal/home use. But wait, it’s not just for entertainment. According to the makers, what they’ve developed so far could enjoy applications in different settings. Although the whole system looks like a lot of furniture jammed together, the resulting platform–which would do real sweet for hardcore gaming–looks like a cockpit.

| Kinect/Windows 8 Powered Board Of Awesomeness Turns Heads (Video) Posted: 12 Jan 2012 10:30 PM PST Sadly, it can’t fire lasers. Though it pretty much does everything else a board can, like go places. Powered by an 800 Watt electric engine and guided via a Kinect sensor that tracks hand movements, the Board of Awesomeness is a novelty one off from Chaotic Moon. They’re an app-building company who want to demonstrate their mobile-focus with, well, a mobile platform. The all-terrain wheels are a nice touch.
