PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale may make its way to the PlayStation Vita

Awhile back Sony announced the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale game. It’s kind of like Super Smash Bros. but with Sony characters. People like Kratos from God of War and Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal, for instance. While the game was announced for the PlayStation 3, many wondered if it would make it to the PlayStation Vita.

Amazon to launch 10.1 inch Kindle Fire in Q3 2012?

There have been a ton of rumors about a new Amazon Kindle Fire arriving this year and it is possible that Amazon would want to refresh the Kindle Fire's hardware for 2012, but so far we don’t have any hard evidence. But if we believe the rumors, then it looks like Amazon could have two Kindle Fires planned, or just one new release.

Samsung Accounts For 40 Percent Of Android Smartphone Sales According to Report

Samsung has had great success with its Galaxy range of android smartphones, with the incredibly popular Samsung Galaxy S II, and it looks like Samsung’s new Galaxy S III will continue the trend as we heard earlier that 9 million of the device had been pre-ordered.

According to a recent report by Gartner, Samsung’s Android smartphones account for 40 percent of all Android smartphone sales, which basically means that out of every ten Android smartphones that are sold, Samsung sells four of them.

Woot Offering Refurbished HP Touchpad For $200

If you were not lucky enough to get your hands on one of the HP TouchPad tablets when they were available for $99, it looks like there are some refurbished versions of the tablet available for $200 today only.

Woot are offering the refurbished HP TouhPad up for sale today for $199.99 including shipping, and the tablet is only available for one day for the 32GB model.

LG Eclipse LS970 Photo Leaked

Last week we had some leaked specifications on the new LG Eclispe LS970 Android smartphone and now we have an actual photo of the handset from the guys over at Brief Mobile.

The LG Eclipse is rumored to feature a quad core 1.5GHz Krait S4 processor and a 4.67 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, plus 2GB of RAM and 16GBof built in storage.

Eight Steak Knives Create Awesome Homemade Steaksaw (video)

Joerg Sprave the slingshot master has been at its again with his lethal creations and combined eight steak knifes to create his very own steaksaw. Sparve has used a handdrill to power his creation, and rotate the eight steak knifes via a belt system. Far Cry 3 Two Week Closed Beta Arriving Later This Year

Ubisoft has today announced that they are planning to run a two week closed beta of their new Far Cry 3 game later this year, during the summer months, for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Any GameStop PowerUp Rewards members who are looking to purchase a copy of the new Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, launching on May 22nd will receive a code that will allow them access to the closed beta event.

Liquidware Amber Development Tablet Unveiled (video)

Liquidware has created and launched a new open source Android development tablet in the form of the Amber. The new Liquidware Amber tablet is powered by a 1 GHz, ARM Cortex-A9 OMAP3730 from Texas Instruments.

The Amber development tablet is also fitted with a 7″ multitouch capacitive display, and runs a customised version of Android Gingerbread 2.3.4, with 512 MB RAM, and up to 16 GB microSD storage. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.

Woz Working With Sony On Steve Jobs Movie

Earlier in the week we heard that Aaron Sorkin would be writing the screen play for Sony’s new movie on the late Steve Jobs, which is based on his biography by Walter Issacson.

Now it looks like former Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has been hired by Sony as an adviser on ‘technical aspects of computers’ and also on the late Steve Jobs.

I’m Watch New Shipping Dates Announced

I’m Spa the Italian smartwatch manufacturer of the delayed I’m Watch. Has this week announced new shipping dates for the launched of its highly anticipated Android 1.6 smart watch, which was expected to by shipping on April 15th.

An initial batch of 300 I’m Watches will be shipping out on June 15th for initial testing and feedback. With other further outstanding orders being fulfilled by July 15th and all orders being dispatched by September 15th.

Samsung Galaxy S III Hits 9 Million Pre-orders

The Samsung Galaxy S II was an extremely popular smartphone for Samsung, and now it would appear that Samsung’s latest flagship Android smartphone, The Galaxy S III is going to be even more popular than its predecessor.

According to a recent report from the Korea Economic Daily, who apparently spoke to a Samsung representative, Samsung have received more than 9 million pre-orders worldwide of their new Galaxy S III handset.

The HTC Evo 4G LTE was due to go on sale in the US today, we heard recently that the launch of the handset has been delayed due to the ongoing dispute between Apple and HTC.

Best Buy had previously announced that the handset would launch next week on the 23rd of May, but now they have confirmed that the launch of the HTC Evo 4G LTE has been delayed indefinitely.

Facebook IPO Priced At $38 Per Share, Could Raise $16 Billion

Facebook has priced its Initial Public Offering (IPO) at $38 per share, and the IPO will take place later today, and could raise around $16 billion US dollars, which would put a value on the company of $104 billion.

Facebook’s iPO is the second largest US listed IPO of all time, with Visa being the number one, and the IPO will apparently create over 1,000 millionaires overnight.
