| BlackBerry 10 Camera App Will Come With Timeline Feature Posted: 01 May 2012 07:14 AM PDT RIM has revealed some details on their new camera app that will be available in BlackBerry 10 devices, and it comes with an interesting feature, described as a timeline feature it will take photos before hit the shutter button. So if you take a photo, but miss something, or say someones eyes are closed in the photo, you can scroll through the cameras cache with a circular ‘timeline’ to pick the best frame for your photo.

| Samsung Takes Top Spot In Smartphone Market Share Posted: 01 May 2012 06:17 AM PDT Research firm IDC has released its latest report on the smartphone market for quarter one of 2012, Samsung has taken the top spot with a 29.7 percent share of the smartphone market. In second place is Apple with a share of 24.2 percent, apple shipped a total of 35.1 million smartphones in quarter one of 2012, this compares to Samsung shipping a total of 42.2 million smartphones for the same period.

| Samsung Canada Announces Android 4.0 ICS Update For Multiple Devices Posted: 01 May 2012 05:19 AM PDT Samsung Canada has announced that it will start rolling out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to multiple devices in Canada, and the list includes devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Samsung Galaxy S II. | RIM Announces New BlackBerry Music Gateway Posted: 01 May 2012 05:01 AM PDT RIM has announced a new version of their BlackBerry Music gateway, and the new model comes with a range of new features which include NFC, the device also comes with a microUSB port and a it also features a 3.5mm stereo output. The new BlackBerry Music Gateway measures 60mm by 40mm by 12mm and it weighs in at just 28 grams, and you can connect your BlackBerry device to the Music Gateway with NFC by tapping the two devices together.

The Jawbone Big Jambox is about twice the size of the original version and it measures 10.1 inches by 3.2 inches by 3.7 inches, and features a built in battery that will give you up to 15 hours of usage.

| Skyrim Kinect Voice Update Coming Today (Video) Posted: 01 May 2012 04:29 AM PDT We recently heard that Skyrim would be releasing a new update for the Xbox 360 that would add over 200 voice commands to the game, and Bethesda has now announced that the English language update is coming today. Bethesda have also said that they are working on the update for other languages, which include French, German, Italian and Spanish, they haven’t given a release date as yet but have said that those versions are in final testing.

| iPad 4G Claims Come Under Scrutiny In The UK Posted: 01 May 2012 03:43 AM PDT When apple launched the new iPad it was advertised as being 4G capable, even in countries where there were no 4G networks, the device came under scrutiny in Australia and now it looks like the same thing is happening here in the UK. According to a recent report by the BBC, the Advertising Standards Authority are looking into Apple’s 4G claims for the new iPad after they have received a number of complaints.

| iTunes Match Launches In Austria, Greece And Italy Posted: 01 May 2012 01:36 AM PDT It looks like Apple is expanding their iTunes Match service as MacRumors is reporting that the service has now launched on some additional countries, which include Austria, Greece and Italy. Apple has yet to announce the launch of iTunes Match in any additional countries, and it isn’t clear whether it is just Italy, Austria and Greece that the service is now available or whether any more countries are being added as well.

| Nokia Lumia 800 Gets Firmware Update, Fixes Audio Volume Bug Posted: 01 May 2012 01:24 AM PDT Nokia has released a new firmware update for their Lumia 800 Windows Phone device, and the latest update is firmware version 12072 and it is a minor software update which is designed to fix the audio volume bug that users reported previously. The update also apparently comes with an updated camera app with updated camera settings and more including automatic detection of 50Hz and 60Hz flickering using flicker reduction.

| RIM Not Samsung Responsible For ‘Wake Up’ Protest At Apple Store (Video) Posted: 01 May 2012 01:11 AM PDT Last week we told you that Samsung had staged a protest outside an Apple Store in Australia, in some sort of viral marketing campaign, well it turns out that Samsung had nothing to do with it.
