HBO Go and MAX Go now available for Android

Posted: 06 May 2012 09:05 AM PDT

HBO has unveiled Android versions of its HBO Go and MAX Go apps, allowing the users of Android-powered devices to stream content from the two premium channels, as long as they already have a cable subscription to the channels. The Apps are available for free in Google’s Play app store.

The HBO Go app gives users access to 1,400 HBO shows, including the channel’s original programming, plus a wide range of movies. The MAX Go app brings access to 400 movies and all of Cinemax’s original programming.

If you subscribe to these channels and have an android device, now you never have to miss a minute of the action. The best thing happening on HBO right now is Game of Thrones. You don’t want to miss that.
