| Posted: 09 May 2012 07:20 AM PDT HTC recently announced that they would not be releasing a bootloader unlock tool for the HTC One X on US mobile carrier AT&T, and now the guys over at the XDA Developers have managed to root the HTC One X on AT&T. Of course the bootloader on the device is still locked, which means the device will not be able to be flashed with ROM’s but now that the device is rooted this will allow for customization and also compatibility with popular applications.

| Sony Xperia Ion Headed To AT&T In June Posted: 09 May 2012 06:59 AM PDT The Sony Xperia Ion is expected to launch on AT&T some time in the second quarter of 2012, so that would be between now and the end of June, AT&T have yet to announce the exact launch date for the handset. According to the guys over at Droid Matters, the Sony Xperia Ion will go on sale with AT&T some timer in June, the date was spotted in a recent Google advert.

The most recent patent granted to Apple relates to a 4G antenna which is built into a Macbook, you can see a photo below which shows where it would be located.

| HTC Evo 4G LTE Lands On Sprint 18th May Posted: 09 May 2012 06:33 AM PDT Sprint recently made the new HTC Evo 4G LTE official and then put the device up for pre-order and now they have confirmed that the handset will be available on their network in the US from the 18th of May, this is a date we had heard about previously. The HTC Evo 4G LTE will be available for $199.99 from Sprint when you sign up to a new two year agreement with the carrier, and it will land in Sprint stores next week.

| Apple Testing Notifications On Its iCloud Website Posted: 09 May 2012 05:00 AM PDT When Apple released iOS 5 it came with a new feature, notifications, and now it looks like this is something Apple intends to add to their iCloud website as well. The guys over at MacRumors discovered a test notification on Apple’s iCloud website, which you can see in the photo below, it would appear that this isn’t being tested everywhere as it did not appear when I just logged into my iCloud account.

| Flipboard For Android APK Leaked From Galaxy S III Demo Unit Posted: 09 May 2012 04:35 AM PDT When Samsung announced the Galaxy S III, they also announced that Flipboard for Android would be available exclusively for the handset, which would mean that you would need a Galaxy S III to use the app. Well it seems one of the guys over at the XDA developers wasn’t to impressed with that, and he managed to extract the APK for Flipboard from a Samsung Galaxy S III demo unit, and has now made it available to download.

Yesterday we heard that Apple had offered Proview a settlement in China, the outcome of which is yet to be discovered, and now it would appear that Proview’s lawsuit in California has been thrown out by the court.
