Samsung Launches The ‘World’s Thinnest’ Optical Disc Drive

Samsung has announced a new external DVD writer, which the company says is the world’s thinnest optical disc drive, the Samsung SE-218BB, and it is designed to be used with tablets and notebooks.

The Samsung SE-218BB is compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac and it will also work with your Android tablet if the tablet features a full sized USB port, running Android 3.1 honeycomb and above.

RIM To Launch First BlackBerry 10 Smartphone In October?

We know that RIM is working on devices that will run the next version of their mobile OS, BlackBerry 10, and according to a recent report by the guys from N4BB, RIM will launch their first BlackBerry 10 smartphone in October.

RIM has already said that they will launch their first BlackBerry 10 device in the second half of 2012, and according to the report RIM will actually announce their first BlackBerry 10 handset around the middle of August.

Samsung Galaxy S III Service Manual And Specifications Leaked?

The guys over at Sammobile have got their hands on a service manual which is apparently for the new Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone, and if this turns out to be the real deal ten we get a look at the final specifications on the handset.

According to the leaked specifications the Samsung Galaxy S III will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED display, plus a quad core 1.5GHz processor, although the processor doesn’t tie in with the 1.4GHz quad core version that Samsung announced today would be in the new S III.

Samsung Galaxy S Advance Hits The UK 30th Of April

The Samsung Galaxy S Advance was announced a while back, and now Samsung has announced that this new Android smartphone will be available in the UK from the 30th of April.

Samsung have said that the device will be available from a  range of mobile carriers here in the UK, and it comes with a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and it will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

NVIDIA Tegra 3+ Processor In The Works

LG Optimus True HD LTE Announced In Germany

LG has announced another Android smartphone in Europe, the LG Optimus True HD LTE, otherwise known as the P936, which is basically the European version of the LG Nitro HD which is available in the US with AT&T.

The LG Optimus True HD LTE will be available with mobile operators O2, Vodafone and T-Mobile in Germany, and the handset comes with a 4.5 inch IPS touchscreen display that features a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

Blizzard Announces Diablo III Worldwide Launch Events

Apple’s WWDC 2012 Sold Out In Just 2 Hours

Yesterday Apple announced that this years World Wide Developer Conference would take place  from the 11th to the 15th of June in San Francisco, and Apple also made the tickets for the event available.]

Nintendo Blames Annual Loss On 3DS Console

It looks like the Nintendo 3DS hasn’t done as well as the company had hoped as Nintendo has just posted their first annual loss, in its financial results to the end of March 2012.

Nintendo made a loss of 37.3bn Yen which is around $459 million, although they are predicting a profit for 2013, and the loss is attributed to their new Nintendo 3DS console.

Samsung Galaxy S III Appears In Kies Software

It wont be long now until Samsung officially announces their next Galaxy smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S III, which is expected to be unveiled on May the 3rd at a special Samsung mobile event in London.
