| Sony Xperia S Headed To Canada April 17th Posted: 11 Apr 2012 04:25 AM PDT Sony has announced that its latest Android smartphone the Sony Xperia S will be available in Canada from the 17th of April and the handset will be available SIM free for use on the Rogers network. As a reminder the Sony Xperia S comes with a 4.3 inch HD multi-touch display that features a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, it is powered by a dual core 1.5GHz processor.

| Vodafone UK Samsung Galaxy S II Android 4.0 Update Coming Tomorrow Posted: 11 Apr 2012 04:19 AM PDT UK mobile phone operator Vodafone has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S II will be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on their network, starting tomorrow the 12th of April. Vodafone have said that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will be available as an over the air update and also through Samsung’s Kies Software, the new comes as Vodafone has announced they have finished testing the update.

| Asus Eee Pad MeMo M171 Gets Benchmarked (Video) Posted: 11 Apr 2012 01:26 AM PDT The Asus Eee Pad MeMo M171 tablet was announced back in January, and now it looks like the device has gone on sale in Taiwan, as the guys over at Netbook News managed to get their hands on this new Android tablet. Hardware wise the Asus Eee Pad MeMo M171 features a dual core 1.2GHaz processor and 1GB of RAM, plus 16GB of built in storage and dual cameras, with a 1.2 megapixel camera up front and a 5 megapixel camera on the back, plus a 7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

| Intel Studybook Tablet Refernce Design Announced Posted: 11 Apr 2012 01:05 AM PDT Intel has announced a new reference design for the Intel Studybook tablet, which is designed to be a rugged 7 inch tablet, and Intel expects the device to be produced for less than $200. The Intel Studbook is designed to either run Google’s Android OS or Microsoft’s Windows 7 OS, and it could possibly use Windows 8 in the future, although this has yet to be confirmed by Intel.

| Samsung Galaxy Note Headed To Sprint? Posted: 11 Apr 2012 12:35 AM PDT It looks like the Samsung Galaxy Note is headed to US mobile carrier Sprint, as the guys from TechnoBuffalo spotted a device on Sprint’s website which looks remarkably similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note. You can see the device in the second photo below, Samsung and Sprint have yet to announce that the Galaxy Note will be available on Sprint, although we have heard rumors in the past that the handset may be headed to Sprint.

| iTunes 11 With Improved iCloud And iOS 6 In The Works Posted: 11 Apr 2012 12:21 AM PDT According to the guys over at 9 to 5 Mac, Apple are working on a new version of iTunes, iTunes 11, which will come with support for iOS 6 and also improved iCloud integration. iTunes 11 is reported to feature much improved iCloud integration with a centralized place for users to control all iCloud features within iTunes, which will include iTunes Match, iTunes in the Cloud, iCloud iOS devices backup and more.

| Asus Transformer Pad 300 To Retail For $379 Posted: 11 Apr 2012 12:12 AM PDT Asus announced the new Transformer Pad 300 tablet back in February, and now the device has appeared online at a retailer in France with the 32GB model listed for 499 Euros which works out at about $650, although US pricing has yet to be announced. When it was announced, Asus also said they would offer a cheaper 16GB version of the Transformer Pad 300, and the guys over at the Verge have found out from retailer J&R that the 16GB version will retail for $379 in the US.

| Nokia To Offer Lumia 900 Owners Replacement Handset, $100 Credit And Software Update Posted: 10 Apr 2012 11:38 PM PDT Nokia launched its flagship Windows Phone smartphone in the US last weekend, the Nokia Lumia 900 and yesterday we heard that a number of users are having problems with the device and its cellular data connection. Nokia has now acknowledged the issue and will be releasing a software update to fix the problem, but the company has also offered to replace any handsets which have the problem with a new handset with the updated software.
