| Microsoft To Show Off New ‘Woodstock’ Xbox Music Service At E3 Posted: 25 Apr 2012 06:29 AM PDT The guys over at The Verge have found out that Microsoft will be showing of its new Zune music service replacement at this years E3, the service is apparently codenamed ‘Woodstock’. The new ‘Woodstock’ music service will apparently be cross platform, which will mean that as well as being able to use it on your Xbox and Windows Phone, it will also be available on Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android platforms.

| Asus Zenbook Prime Ultrabooks With 1080p Display Revealed Posted: 25 Apr 2012 06:21 AM PDT It looks like Asus is getting ready to release a new version of its Zenbooks ultrabooks, and according to the guys from Engadget, the new models with come with full HD 1080p displays. The guys from Engadget managed to get an early look at the two new ultrabooks, and it would appear that both the 11.6 inch version and the 13.3 inch version will feature 1920 x 1080p IPS displays.

| Huawei Working On Windows 8 Smartphones And Tablets? Posted: 25 Apr 2012 05:05 AM PDT According to a recent report, smartphone makers Huawei is working on two Windows Phone 8 smartphones, as well as some Windows 8 based tablets, and one of the smartphones is expected to feature similar components used in Huawei’s recent Android devices. The company has apparently assembled a team of 70 engineers who are working on the two Windows Phone 8 devices and they are also apparently working on a new design for a Windows Phone 8 smartphone.

| Another Galaxy S III Dummy Box Photo Leaked Posted: 25 Apr 2012 04:16 AM PDT Samsung has apparently been testing out its new Galaxy S III smartphone in dummy cases, with a number of mobile carriers, last week we saw a photo of the Galaxy S III in a dummy box, and now we have another photo of the device in a different dummy case. The photo below appeared on a Chinese mobile forum, mobile01, and as you can see from the photo, this version has a larger menu button than the stock Android 4.0.

| Meizu MX And M9 To Get Android 4.0 ICS Update In June Posted: 25 Apr 2012 03:53 AM PDT Meizu has announced that two of its Android smartphones, the Meizu MX and The Meizu M9 will be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update in June. The Android 4.0 ICS update will be released for the dual core Meizu MX as well as the new quad core version, plus the Meizu M9 Android handset as well, and it will come in the form of Flyme OS 1.0, which is a custom skinned version of Android 4.0.

| HTC And Facebook Working On A New Facebook Smartphone? Posted: 25 Apr 2012 03:29 AM PDT HTC has already released a couple of smartphones that featured heavy Facebook integration, and now according to a recent report by Digitimes, HTC are working with Facebook on a new smartphone. Last year HTC launched the HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa both devices featured heavy Facebook integration, unfortunately neither device really became popular, so we wonder why they would be working on a new model.

| Nokia Lumia 900 Lands In The UK May 14th? Posted: 25 Apr 2012 02:41 AM PDT We recently heard that the SIM free version of the Nokia Lumia 900 would be available in the UK from the 16th of May, and now according to the guys over at The Verge, the Nokia Lumia 900 will land in the UK on the 14th of May. We haven’t as yet had any confirmation from the UK mobile carriers that this is the official launch date, the device is expected to be available in both black and white versions from that date.

| ITC Says iPhone And iPad Violate Motorola Patent Posted: 25 Apr 2012 01:56 AM PDT Yesterday we heard that the International Trade Commission had ruled that Microsoft’s Xbox violates a couple of Motorola’s patents, and now it is Apple’s turn, as the ITC has ruled that some of Apple’s devices violate Motorola’s patents. According to the ruling both Apple’s iPhone and iPad violate Motorola patents relating to WiFi, although the judge did find that the devices did not violate three other patents owned by Motorola.

Google has also announced that they are now increasing the storage limit on their Gmail accounts to 10GB as standard for free. The new increase from the current 7.5 GB to the new 10GB of storage will take effect in user accounts over the next 24 hours. Also with the launch of Google Drive, when you upgrade to a paid account, your Gmail account storage will also expand to 25GB. | Apple’s iCloud Hits 125 Million Users Posted: 25 Apr 2012 01:32 AM PDT Apple launched their new cloud service back in October of last year at the same time as they launched the new iPhone 4S, and now Apple has revealed how many people are using iCloud. The last figures we had from Apple were back in February when they announced that iCloud had over 100 million users, and yesterday Apple announced that iCloud now has more that 125 million users.

| Apple Reports Record Earnings, iPhone And iPad Sales Posted: 25 Apr 2012 12:38 AM PDT Apple has released its latest earnings figures, which cover the first quarter of 2012 and Apple’s second fiscal quarter of 2012, the company had revenue of $39.2 billion and a net quarterly profit of $11.6 billion, which is $12.30 per diluted share. This compares to $24.67 billion and a net quarterly profit of $5.99 billion in the same quarter for the previous year, and they also released some details on how many iPhones and iPads they sold in the quarter.

Google Drive comes with 5GB of free storage, and you can choose additional storage in 25GB for $2.49 a month, 100GB for $4.99 a month and 1TB which will set you back $49.99 a month.
