When I have junk to get rid of I prefer to use craigslist to eBay, I will say craigslist has a decisively discount look and feel to it. By discount, I mean it looks like something out of the 90s. If ever a site needed a user interface overhaul, it’s craigslist.

Fans of 3D phones must be feeling pretty depressed right about now, because Sprint has officially announced that they will be discontinuing the HTC EVO 3D. They didn’t even give it a 3 dimensional funeral. The handset was 3D, but our hearts are left in 2D.

New Dropbox Links Feature Makes File Sharing Even Easier

Dropbox the online cloud backup and sharing service has unveiled a new feature of its service in the form of Links. Dropbox CEO Drew Houston and Product Manager Ivan Kirigin demonstrated the new Links feature to the TechCrunch team last week, and now the new Links feature can now be used by Dropbox users to share files in a snap. Either large videos or collections of smaller files.

Asus Padfone Delayed, Coming In May?

The last thing we heard about the Asus Padfone was that the device had gone up from pre-order in Taiwan and was expected to launch in the country on the 20th of April.

According to the guys over at Netbook news, the Taiwan launch of the Padfone, which is a smartphone and tablet combination device, has been delayed and it is expected to be available around the 11th of May.

Samsung Jasper SCH-i200 Smartphone For Verizon Revealed

It looks like Samsung has another new Android smartphone headed to US mobile carrier Verizon, as the guys from Pocket Now have discovered references to a Samsung ‘Jasper’ SCH-i200 smartphone.

The device was discovered in the Bluetooth SIG and it is apparently running a Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor at 1.5GHz, plus Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The ZX Spectrum Is 30 years Old (Video)

I remember when the ZX Spectrum was originally launched, 30 years ago today Sinclair launched the ZX Spectrum, which was the follow up to the ZX81, and Sinclair sold a total of 5 million units of the ZX Spectrum.

There were a total of eight different models of the ZX Spectrum released over the computers life, with the first model featuring 16kb of RAM back in 1982 and the final model was released in 1987, the ZX Spectrum +3 which came with 128KB of RAM.

T-Mobile UK Samsung Galaxy S II Gets Android 4.0 ICS Update

It looks like UK mobile carrier T-Mobile has finally released the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy S II here in the UK, as a number of owners of the device have reported receiving the update.

T-Mobile is the last network to release the Android 40 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Samsung’s Galaxy S II smartphone in the UK, and the majority of the carriers have released the update over the last month.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus went on sale with US mobile carrier Sprint yesterday, and the handset is available for $199.99 when you sign up to a new two year agreement with Sprint.

The Galaxy Nexus on sprint comes with Google’s own mobile payment offering, Google Wallet and the device also features 4G LTE, and comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Sony Unveils New iOS Music Systems With Magnetic Fluid Speakers

Sony has this week unveiled a couple of new music systems, in the form of the CMT-V75BTiP and CMT-V50iP, which are equipped with Magnetic Fluid speakers. The CMT-V75BTiP dock pictured below is compatible with iPhone, iPod and iPad devices and connects to them using Bluetooth. But can easily wirelessly stream music from any Bluetooth-enable devices, and is also fitted with a DAB and DAB+ radio.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive SDK Arriving 3 Months After Game Launch

Valve’s Gabe Newell has announced that a new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive SDK pack will be arriving 3 months after the launch of the upcoming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive game which is currently in development.

Unfortunately at the present time no launch date has been announced for the new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive game. But the new SDK which will be arriving a few months after it does finally arrive, will allow gamers to create their own maps and is currently being built by Valve veteran developer Mike Durand.

Galaxy Note Headed To T-Mobile?

We have been hearing rumors for a while that Samsung’s Galaxy Note will be headed to US mobile carrier T-Mobile, and now the guys over at TMO News have obtained some screenshots of what are reported to be the T-Mobile Galaxy Note.

You can see the screenshots below and they show the device with Android 4.0.3, T-Mobile has yet to officially announce the Samsung Galaxy Note for their network in the US.

Google Drive Appears On Developers Phone

Google have yet to make any sort of official announcement on their new Google Drive cloud based service, although we have seen a number of leaks on the service over the last couple of months.

Now Google Drive for Android has shown up on a developers phone, the guys over at The Verge spotted it o Google’s Friday app review from the Android developers, although it has now been removed from the video.

Samsung is expected to unveil its new Galaxy S III smartphone early next month on the 3rd of May, and the company has now released a new teaser video, unfortunately it doesn’t actually feature the handset.

Foco Sound Enhancer For Apple’s New iPad And iPad 2 (video)

If when using your new iPad 3 or iPad 2 you feel that you are losing a little too much of the audio from around the rear of the device. A new sound enhancer has been developed to bring the iPad’s sound back to the front and raise it by around 10 db. Watch the video after the jump to see its designer talk you trough his invention.

The Foco is a small scoop styled adapter that has a self adhesive pad which holds it in place on your iPad. Once attached the small scoop send the audio from your iPad forwards rather than backwards.

Motorola RAZR Maxx Hits The UK May 14th

The Motorola RAZR Maxx recently went up for pre-order here in the UK, and now it looks like the SIM free version will be available in the UK from the 14th of May.

The Motorola RAZR Maxx features a dual core 1.2GHz processor and it features 1GB of RAM, plus a a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display that features a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels.

HTC To Develop Its Own Smartphone Processors?

HTC relies on other companies for the processors it uses in its smartphones, but according to a recent report HTC is looking to produce its own processors for future devices.

According to the China Times, HTC is developing a dedicated application processor that will be used in its low end smartphones, and it is expected to start using these processors next year.

Today Mozilla has made available their latest Firefox browser taking it to version 12. Since Mozilla has adopted a quicker release roll out similar to that used by Google for its Chrome browser, it means its only been five weeks since the launch of Firefox 11.

The new six week update cycle came Mozilla is now using allows it to keep development up to date an provide users with new features quicker than the older system which may have taken Mozilla months to roll out features between updates.

LG Optimus 3D Max Launched On Europe

LG has just announced that their latest Android smartphone, the LG Optimus 3D Max will be launching in Europe, although according to the guys over at Engadget this does not include the UK.

We had previously heard that the LG Optimus 3D Max would also be headed to the UK, although LG have told Engadget that they have no plans to bring the handset to the UK.

Asus has revealed the launch details of their latest Transformer tablet for the UK, the Transformer Pad TF300 will go on sale in the UK in earlyMay, and the tablet will retail for £399.

The £399 price includes the keyboard dock and it will come with an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor and 16GB of built in storage, there will also be a 32GB version available.

Mozilla Boot To Gecko Devices Arriving Early 2013

Mozilla CEO Gary Kovacs has unveiled that Mozilla is looking to start releasing their new HTML5-based mobile platform Boot To Gecko (B2G) devices sometime in early 2013. The announcement was made by Kovacs in Sao Paulo Brazil, and explained that Mozilla has partnered with Telefónica to release the new devices, which are still to be detailed, but will be available unlocked when they go retail, due to Brazilian law.

It looks like the new HTC One X is now available to pre-order from US mobile carrier AT&T, the device is available for $199.99 when you sign up to a new two year contract with the carrier.

It looks like AT&T are also offering the device on their network without a contract, although this will set you back $549, and the AT&T version features a Snapdragon S4 processor instead of the NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor in the European version

Skype 1.0 For Windows Phone Released

Microsoft has released a new version of Skype for Windows Phone and this is the first non beta version that has been released for Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform, Skype 1.0.

Skype 1.0 for Windows Phone will work on Windows Phone devices running Windows Phone 7.5 or higher, although according to the guys over at The Verge it will only run on devices with more than 512MB of RAM and not on the latest Tango devices with 256MB of RAM.
