After the Mannheim regional court agreed with an earlier court decision, restricting Apple from delivering the service following a patent lawsuit from Motorola Mobility. Nook Simple Touch With GlowLight Introduced By Barnes And Noble Posted: 13 Apr 2012 01:02 AM PDT Barnes & Noble has launched a new addition to their range this week, announcing the arrival of their new Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight. A new variation on their Nook Simple Touch e-reader, that is now equipped with 8 LEDs embedded into the reader’s top bezel edge, providing users with the ability to read their Nook Simple Touch in the dark. Apart from the added GlowLight LEDs little else has been changed with regards the e-readers specifications. Both illuminated and non-illuminated versions of the Nook Simple Touch are fitted with a 6 inch e-ink display, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 2GB of internal storage and a SD card slot for expanding storage when needed. Barnes & Noble explain that the new Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight will last around a month on a charge with wireless turned off, being used for around 30 minutes of reading a day with the GlowLight switched on, or 2 months without using the GlowLight. The reason for the delay is that Samsung are looking at changing the specifications of the device, and it may end up getting a more powerful processor, possibly a quad core version.
