New Chromebooks Boot In 5 Seconds With Open Source BIOS

We already have some "instant on" options, but they are hardly instant. The good news is that we are getting closer. An updated Samsung Chromebook recently shown off at IDF in Beijing, can do a cold boot in just five seconds. Now that’s fast and much closer to “instant”.

Awesome Mass Effect 3 Fan Made Alternative Launch Trailer (video)

BioWare did a great job at creating their version of the Mass Effect launch trailer, but YouTube user and Mass Effect 3 fan, Luke Ritson has has taken first place from BioWare with his alternative version of a Mass Effect 3 launch trailer.

Combining elements from both the first and third Mass Effect games, Luke has put together a professional trailer, showing how even independents can show the big companies a thing or two. Enjoy!

Asus Transformer Pad 300 Launching April 22nd

Its been revealed by a PC World spokesperson that Asus’s new Transformer Pad 300 will start shipping in the U.S. on April 22nd. Although pre-order prices are currently around the $380 the spokesperson was unable to confirm the pricing.

The Asus Transformer Pad 300 is equipped with a 10.1-inch screen, powered by a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, supported by 1GB of RAM and will have 16GB of storage. Unlike the Asus Prime which comes encased in aluminium the new Asus Transformer Pad 300 will be fitted with a plastic case.

Resistance: Burning Skies Multiplayer Trailer (video)

Sony has this week released a new trailer for its upcoming PS Vita game Resistance: Burning Skies, a console quality FPS, currently being developed by Nihilistic Software.
