Pig With Wings Flying Piggy Bank Comes In Three Sizes Posted: 24 Jul 2011 11:00 AM PDT That’s pretty much it. Three sizes: small, medium, and large. Though artful, it’s also breakable as all piggy banks should be. A wonderful sculpture in itself with a cross mark for a coin slot, the Flying Piggy Bank is the work of Galerie Briggite. Not sure if it's a person or a design studio. Nice though. Real nice. Frag Out! Flower Grenades Explode With Love Posted: 24 Jul 2011 10:30 AM PDT For mother nature. Cos as pictured below, inside is a small cute plant and—seeds? Yes seeds. For sowing the earth with goodness. Just be careful not to hurl one of these in public unless you want to be mistaken for a terrorist. But as a work of art and a clever way to cultivate plants, we have to commend this flower grenade. Flowers are nice. Especially when you smell them. QuickSmart Portable Stroller Is Really For Parents Posted: 24 Jul 2011 09:45 AM PDT Yeah, yeah, seen below is a backpack marked “Stroller.” But where’s the real stroller? it’s inside the bag. We could’ve used a genuine pic f the QuickSmart in action, but the overwhelming majority of them were craptastic in quality. The QuickSmart is a real piece of equipment despite for a certain kind of person/s. Because unless you travel a lot, which means you probably own a whole closet of stroller bags, there’s little need for the QuickSmart. What it fundamentally accomplishes is being a transformable pushchair for the babies. Yes, it’s the parents who’ll find the QuickSmart most useful. It’s a stroller that’s foldable into a backpack when not needed. (See down south.) Satisfy Your Taste For Adventure With Fold A Boat Posted: 24 Jul 2011 09:33 AM PDT While not an inspiring craft for the more swashbuckling adventurers out there, the Fold a boat is ideal for solitary journeys across Europe’s rivers and streams. Canals too. The Old Continent is just full of them. Not sure if you can try this on the open sea though. But as the vaunted SAS like to proclaim, ‘Who dares wins!’ (...) © Geeky Gadgets, 2011. | Permalink | Unauthorized duplication and or distribution of our content is strictly forbidden © Geeky Gadgets, 2011 |
Reservoir Of Water Being Sucked By Black Hole Posted: 24 Jul 2011 04:30 AM PDT In what appears to be the most bizarre title for a Geeky Gadgets post, news is currently circulating about a recent find at the edge of space. Two teams of astronomers have located a huge floating body of water—so huge, it’s almost immeasurable—that’s being consumed by a black hole. The awesome part is the water being sucked by the endless void is coming out the other end as energy.

Space Intruder Multi-Tool Only Has A Couple Of Tools Posted: 23 Jul 2011 02:06 PM PDT Long story short, it doesn’t do much except commemorate a classic game. On either end of this novelty keychain is a foldable flathead and Philips screwdriver. The ergonomics are poor and there isn’t much of a grip, but when an emergency situation calls for it, it might just work. Oh, and the name? Probably to avoid copyright hassles. We’re hoping the jaws of this keychain also double as bottle openers but the product page says zip. Biodegradable Sprout Watch Biodegrades With Ease Posted: 23 Jul 2011 02:00 PM PDT The Sprout is a colorful wrist accessory that does nature a favor by decomposing when buried and/or disposed of. The strap is made of cotton and the bamboo/mineral parts combination of the watch itself won’t last ages. Dig this: the box it comes from includes a mini grass garden. Not sure if its edible though. You really shouldn’t try what you’re thinking. (...) © Geeky Gadgets, 2011. | Permalink | Unauthorized duplication and or distribution of our content is strictly forbidden © Geeky Gadgets, 2011 |
Samsung Funded Study Indicates 3D Not Good For Eyes Posted: 23 Jul 2011 01:54 PM PDT Unfortunately. There’s no indicator yet that the South Korean giant has responded to the University of California-Berkeley research their R&D arm funded. We do have a funny feeling they’ll want to have the study hush hushed even after it’s been published on the Journal of Vision. It’s simply too damning of the 3D medium.
