AU Optronics Building Displays For New iPad Mini (Rumor)

HTC Windows Phone 8X Headed To AT&T

As well as announcing a couple of Android smartphones from HTC , US mobile carrier AT&T has announced that it will carry HTC’s latest Windows phone handset, the HTC Windows Phone 8X.

The HTC Windows Phone 8X, comes with the latest version of Microsoft’ mobile OS, Windows Phone 8, and it features a dual core 1.5GHz processor and a 4.3 inch HD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 342ppi.

BlackBerry 10 Aristo Quad Core Smartphone Specifications Leaked

It looks like we have some details on another new BlackBerry 10 smartphone from RIM, the BlackBerry 10 Aristo which is reported to be a quad core powered BlackBerry device.

According to CrackBerry, the BlackBerry 10 Aristo will feature a quad core 1.5GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 Krait processor and a 4.65 inch touchscreen display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

Samsung To Announce Galaxy S III Mini Next Week (Rumor)

NTT DoCoMo Demos Smartphone With Grip UI (Video)

Japan’s NTT DoCoMo has demoed a new smartphone which features a rather interesting user interface, the Grip UI, which works when you touch the side of the smartphone.

iPad Mini In Production At Foxconn Brazil Plant (Rumor)

Apple are expected to officially announce the new iPad Mini on the 17th of October, and they are reported to be sending out invites to the event on the 10th of October, with the device launching by the end of October or start of November.

Acer Aspire S7 Windows 8 Ultrabooks Launching October 26th

Acer announced its new Aspire Windows 8 touchscreen notebooks back in June, and now the company has announced that these new laptops will launch on the same day as Microsoft’s Windows 8, the 26th of October.

iPhone 5 Carrier Data Leak May Be Affecting Other Carriers Than Verizon

There have been a number of reports of an issue regarding mobile data being used on the iPhone 5 when the device was connected to WiFi, the issue was thought to be limited to Verizon Wireless.

Yesterday Verizon released a software update to fix the issue and also said that customers would not be charged for any data they used when the problem occurred, not it would appear that the issue my not be limited to Verizon.

Even before Microsoft and manufacturers launch the new Clover Trail based Windows 8 tablets, unnamed sources close to the action have revealed to the Bloomberg website, that the tablets might already be delayed.

The source reveals that the delays are due to Intel not providing the manufacturers of the Windows 8 tablets with the proper power management firmware for the Clover Trail based tablets.

NEC PaPeRo Telecommunications Robot At CeaTec 2012 (video)

This week at CeaTec 2012 NEC has been showcasing their PaPeRo telecommunications robot, allowing remote users to control PaPeRo via an Internet connection and companion application.

Apple To Announce Q4 Earnings October 25th

Apple has scheduled it latest earnings call for October the 25th, Apple will be reporting their quarter 4 fiscal earnings reports, and this could be one of Apple’s highest quarters to date.

Along with the details on their quarter four earnings we are expecting to find out exactly how many iPhone 5′s Apple has sold, they managed to sell a total of 5 million in their first weekend, and by the time of the earnings call they will have had over a month of sales of the device.

iPhone 4 And 4S Owners Reporting Battery Drain Problems With iOS 6

It looks like there could be another possible issue with Apple’s iOS 6 on the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, as a number of users are reporting issues with the battery on their handsets since installing iOS 6.

According to the guys over at Mac Observer, some users of the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 are noticing that their handset is using considerably more power than when their devices was running iOS 6.

Toyota Install Kinect Motion Controller In Its Smart Insect Concept EV (video)

Toyota has this week unveiled a new  Smart Insect prototype vehicle at CEATEC, which has been installed with a Microsoft Kinect motion controller and voice recognition technology.

Natwest, RBS And Visa Partner to Create iPhone 4 TouchPay NFC Payment Device

In the UK today Natwest, RBS and Visa have taken the wraps off a new payment product called TouchPay. Which has been designed to provide iPhone 4 and 4S users with a contactless payments service using, near field communications (NFC).

The TouchPay service requires iPhone users to use a new NFC cover, which has been specifically designed for use with the new TouchPay service unveiled today.

iPhone 5 Headed To Virgin Mobile USA

It looks like Apple’s new iPhone 5 is also headed to Virgin Mobile USA, according to a recent report by MacRumors, who have discovered specific CDMA versions of the iPhone 5 for Virgin Mobile’s network.

Both Apple and Virgin Mobile have yet to announce that the iPhone 5 will be available in their network, but the model number below for Virgin mobile have been discovered.

Forza Horizon Launch Trailer And Demo Released (video)

A new launch trailer has been released today for the upcoming Forza Horizon an open world racing game, which will be launching later this month, as an exclusive on the Xbox 360.

A new demo for Forza Horizon will also be launching on Xbox Live this month allowing you to put the game through its paces from October 9th. The game is currently being developed by British games developer Playground Games in association with Turn 10 Studios.

Android 4.0 ICS And 4.1 Jelly Bean Now On 25 Percent Of Android Devices

Every month Google publishes statistics on the coverage of their Android operating system, and this month the statistics released by Google show that a quarter of all Android devices are now running either Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system or Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

Last month around 20 percent of Android devices were running Android 4.0 but this month that has risen to 23.7 percent, with 1.8 percent of Android users running the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software.

HTC One X+ Full Specifications

HTC just introduced their latest Android smartphone the HTC One X+, and now we have details on the full specifications on this new Android smartphone, which comes with the latest version of Google’s Android OS, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The HTC One X+ features a 4.7 inch Super LCD 2 touchscreen display with a 720p HD resolution, the screen is covered in Gorilla Glass 2 and the device is powered by a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.7GHz.

Gmail Update Enables Attachment Searching
