| Posted: 25 Oct 2012 04:26 AM PDT Bookends come in a range of different designs, but this latest one from designer Paul Cocksedge is almost invisible, when it is in use you don’t actually see the bookend, just the books standing up at and angle. Have a look at the photo below, which shows the bookend in action, although it doesn’t show what the bookend actually looks like, and even on his website all you see is what the device does and not what it looks like, here is how he explains his design.

| LG Nexus 4 Appears On UK Retailers Website Posted: 25 Oct 2012 03:19 AM PDT We just showed you some photos of Google’s next Nexus smartphone, the LG Nexus 4,which we are expecting to be officially announced on the 29th of October, and now the device has turned up on a major UK mobile phone retailers website. The UK’s Carphone Warehouse, have listed the LG Nexus 4 on their website, along with some specifications which include a Snapdragon s4 processor, a 4.7inch LCD display and Android 4.2, although it is called Jelly Bean on the listing, and not Key Lime Pie as we had thought.

| Panasonic Lumix GH3 Launches 13th December Posted: 25 Oct 2012 02:38 AM PDT The new Panasonic Lumix GH3 was announced back in September, and now we have a launch date for the device, it will go on sale on the 13th of December in Japan, although no pricing details have been released as yet. The Panasonic Lumix GH3 features a 16.05-megapixel Live Mos sensor, capable of capturing 6 fps in 16 megapixel mode and 20 fps in 4 megapixel mode, plus it also comes with OLED displays in both its viewfinder and 3:2 614K pixel OLED touchscreen on the rear of the camera.

| Sprint Announces No Contract Data Plans For iPad Mini And LTE Tablets Posted: 25 Oct 2012 02:20 AM PDT Apple’s new iPad Mini with WiFi and Cellular is headed to the major mobile carriers in the US, and now Sprint has announced a new range of no contract data plans which are designed to be used with the iPad Mini and other LTE tablets. Sprint is offering a number of different data plans, the first one starts at $14.99 per month, and for that you get 300MB of data, if you want the next plan, which is 3GB then that will set you back $34.99 per month.

| LG Working On webOS Based Smart TV Posted: 25 Oct 2012 01:32 AM PDT It looks like LG are working on a new smart TV, although it would appear that LG are looking for an alternative to Google’s TV software, and may be building a smart TV on HP’s open webOS platform. Open webOS Professional Edition is a version of webOS offered by Gram to OEM manufacturers, and according to a report by webOS Nation, LG are working with Gram to produce a smart TV that uses the webOS platform.

| Samsung Galaxy Note II Goes Up For Pre-order At Verizon And AT&T Posted: 25 Oct 2012 12:41 AM PDT Samsung latest version of its Galaxy Note smartphone is about to launch in the US, the Samsung Galaxy Note II, and now both Verizon Wireless and AT&T have put the device up for pre-order. Yesterday T-Mobile listed the device on their website for $369.99 with a new two year contract and now both Verizon and AT&T are offering the Galaxy Note II for $299.99 on a two year contract.

| Apple Releases 13 Inch Retina MacBook Pro TV Advert (Video) Posted: 25 Oct 2012 12:16 AM PDT Apple announced their new 13 inc Retina MacBook Pro the other day, along with the new iPad Mini, we have already seen Apple’s new iPad Mini TV advert and now Apple has released one for the new 13 inch Retina MacBook Pro. The 13 inch retina MacBook Pro comes with a 13.3 inch Retina Display that features a resolution of 2,560 by 1,600 at 227 pixels per inch (ppi), and it comes with a choice of either an Intel i5 or i7 processors.
