FAVI Mini Bluetooth Keyboard Launches

FAVI has released a new Mini Bluetooth keyboard that would be ideal for the company’s SmartStick mini PC that was released last month. The new keyboard is Palm-sized and uses Bluetooth technology for connectivity. Because it uses Bluetooth for connectivity, it will work with anything supporting Bluetooth keyboards.

Netflix Officially Available in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland

Netflix announced that during the summer that it would be expanding streaming offering to certain Nordic countries. As of this week, Netflix streaming content has officially become available in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. Netflix says the 2 million broadband households within the Nordic countries can now access Netflix.

Lytro Future Focus Camera Receiving 3D Parallax Effect Feature And More (video)

T-Mobile Galaxy Note II To Retail For $300

T-Mobile recently announced that they would be offering the new Galaxy Note II smartphone on their network from the 24th of October, this is the same day that Samsung are holding their US launch event for the Galaxy Note II.

When the handset was announced for T-Mobile no pricing details were available, but now it would appear that the Galaxy Note II will retail for $299 on T-Mobile, the prices were leaked from Walmart and obtained by TMO News.

Apple Update Removes Java From All OS X Web Browsers

The week Recon Instruments has taken the wraps off a new product it is added to its range in the form of the Flight HUD Googles, which have been designed for use by skydivers, base jumpers and wingsuit pilots.

Valve’s Steam Greenlight Starts Supporting Non-Gaming Software

Valve has this week started accepting non-gaming software it to its recently launched Steam Greenlight service through its Steam software distribution network.

Valve launched their Steam Greenlight servicea few months back, and has now also started allowing developers to post their games without paying the $100 fee normally required, within a new area called ” Concepts”.

Asus Padfone 2 Headed To The UK Early 2013

Asus recently announced their new Padfone 2 smartphone, and when the device was announced Asus said that it would be available in certain European countries in December, unfortunately the UK was not on the list of countries at the time of the announcement.

Asus has now confirmed when thew new Padfone 2 will be available in the UK, unfortunately the device will not be available in the UK until early next year, Asus did not give a specific launch date.

Microsoft Reveals Its Sold Over 70 Million Xbox 360 Consoles Worldwide

BBC iPlayer App For Android Receives Jelly Bean Update And More

The BBC has today rolled out a new update for their Android BBC iPlayer application which is brought with it support for Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

Photos Taken With Nexus 10 Tablet Appear Online

There have been a number of rumors that Google is working on a new Android tablet that will come with a 10 inch display, the device is expected to be called the Nexus 10, and rumored to launch in the first half of next year.

Google Rumored To Unveil Android Key Lime Pie On 29th Of October

Google recently sent out invites to a press event which will take place on the 29th of October, and now according to a number of report Google is rumored to be announcing the next version of Android, Key Lime Pie.

As well as the next version of Android we are also expecting to see Google’s next Nexus smartphone, there could be just one device unveiled, which may be the LG Nexus 4 or we could see multiple Nexus devices from various manufacturers.

TweetBot App For Mac Arrives In The App Store

Verizon Wireless has now started selling the Droid RAZR Maxx and the Droid RAZR Maxx HD on their network inn the US, both devices have similar specifications as both come with a 4.7 inch 720p HD display and a dual core Snapdragon S4 processor.

The Droid RAZR HD features 16GB of built in storage, this will be available for $199.99 when you sign up to a new two year contract with Verizon, the RAZR Maxx HD comes with more storage, in the form of 32GB.

Kyocera Dingo S Smartphone Annouced For Japan

Kyocera has announced the launch of another Android smartphone in Japan, the Kyocera Dingo S which features a 4.7 inch display and comes with android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Kyocera Dingo S features a 2,200 mAh battery, and according to the announcement, the handset will give you up to 18 hours of talk time, which sounds pretty impressive.

UK Carriers Form Alliance For 4G LTE In The UK

Earlier this month we heard that the major UK carriers had come t an agreement to work together to deliver 4G LTE in the UK, and now the carriers, which include EE, O2, Vodafone and Three have formed an alliance, with a joint company called Digitial Mobile Spectrum Ltd.

The four major UK carriers will now be working together to roll out their 4G LTE services throughout the UK, and we can expect all of them to have something available by the spring of 2013.

Google Chromebook With 3G To Retail For $330

Earlier today we showed you Google’s new Chromebook notebook, the device will go on sale next week for $249, and now it would appear that there will also be a 3g model of the Chromebook available.

The 3G Google Chromebook has turned up on Amazon and Also Samsung’s own website, and it looks like it will retail for around $330, and it looks like it will be available with Verizon and will come with 100MB of free data per month included in the $330 price tag.

Sony Cuts 2,000 Jobs, Closes Factory In Japan

Sony announced a while back that they would be cutting around 10,000 jobs, the company recently reported a loss of $6.4 billion back in April of this year, and now Sony has announced that they will be cutting more jobs next year.

Sony will lay off another 2,000 staff by March of 2013, and now Sony is also closing their Minokamo factory in japan, the factory produces camera and mobile phone lenses, and also looks after customer services for Sony’s mobile phone division.

ZTE To Launch Windows Phone 8 Smartphone Early Next Year

We have already seen some photos of a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone from ZTE, and now the company has confirmed that they will be launching a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone early in 2013.

Today Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has announced the official launch date for their awesome new Planetside 2 MMO FPS, which will now be officially launching on November 20th 2012 for PC gamers.

Google Lose $19bn In Value After Results Error Causes Shares To Be Suspended

An error by printing firm RR Donnelley, who mistakenly published Google’s third-quarter results early, has wiped $19bn off the value of Google, seeing Google’s shares plummet  a massive 9 percent  before trade was suspended, yesterday.

Trading in Google shares was suspended for 2.5 hours after the Googles third-quarter results had been filed early by RR Donnelley, without Google’s authorisation.

Huawei Ascend W1 Windows Phone 8 Press Shot Leaked

We have already seen a photo of the new Windows Phone 8 handset from Huawei, the Ascend W1, and now we have a press shot of the device which was posted to Twitter by @evleaks.

@evleaks has been responsible for leaking a number of different smartphones over the last couple of months, what we heard previously is that the Huawei Ascend W1 will feature a 4inch WVGA mulit-touch display.

Google And Samsung Announce New $250 Chromebook

Google and Samsung have announced a new Chromebook laptop and it comes with some impressive specifications for the price, the new Google Chromebook will retail for $249.

The $249 Google Chromebook features an 11.6 inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, the device is just 0.8 inches thick and weighs in a 1.1kgs, processing is provided by a Samsung Exynos 5 dual core processor and it also comes with 16GB of built in storage.
