With the VideoCore driver code which runs on the ARM has been released under a FOSS license (3-Clause BSD). | Dutch Court Says Samsung Did Not Infringe On Apple Multi-Touch Patent Posted: 24 Oct 2012 05:46 AM PDT Apple and Samsung are engaged in a number of different lawsuits in various countries around the world, Samsung were recently told to pay damages to Apple of over $1 billion by a US court. Now it looks like Samsung has had some good news today, as Reuters are reporting that a Dutch court has ruled that Samsung did not infringe on a patent for multi-touch.

| iPad Mini To Come With Apple’s Siri Posted: 24 Oct 2012 05:38 AM PDT Yesterday Apple announced their new iPad Mini, the device features a 9.7 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and also features a dual core A5 processor. One thing we missed from the announcement is that the iPad Mini will come with Apple’s voice activated virtual assistant, Siri, where as the older iPad 2 that features the same processor does not come with Siri.

It looks like Google may be getting rid of the 8GB version of the Nexus 7 and introducing the 32GB model, which would mean that they would offer a 16GB and 32GB model.

| AT&T Sold 6.1 Smarpthones In The Last Quarter, 4.7 Million Were iPhones Posted: 24 Oct 2012 05:25 AM PDT AT&T has announced its latest financial results for quarter three of 2012, the company made a profit of $3.6 billion and also announced that they had sold a total of 6.1 million smartphones. AT&T also announced that out of the 6.1 million smartphones that they sold, 4.7 million of them were Apple’s iPhone, although they did not give specific details on which models of the iPhone these numbers included.

| Posted: 24 Oct 2012 12:28 AM PDT About a week ago one of our sources told us that Apple’s new iPad Mini would go on sale on the 2nd of November, Apple announced the new iPad Mini yesterday and also announced that the iPad Mini would go on sale on the 2nd of November, the device will go up for pre-order this Friday the 26th of October. Apple has now revealed the UK price of the iPad Mini, and prices start at £269, this is for the 16GB WiFi only model, there is also a 32GB WiFi only model which will retail for £349 and a 4GB WiFi only model which retails for £429.

| Posted: 24 Oct 2012 12:14 AM PDT Yesterday Apple announced their new iPad Mini and now we have the full specifications on Apple’s latest tablet, the iPad Mini features a 9.7 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and 163 ppi, which is the same resolution as the iPad 2. The iPad Mini features a dual core A5x processor and two cameras, on the front of the device is 1.2 megapixel FaceTime HD Camera, on the the back is a 5 megapixel iSight camera with auto-focus, face detection and a f/2.4 aperture five element lens with backside illumination.
