| Google To Launch $99 Nexus Tablet For The Holidays (Rumor) Posted: 17 Oct 2012 06:45 AM PDT We have heard a lot about Google’s Nexus 7 tablet over the last few weeks, and have seen the 32GB Nexus 7 pop up at a number of retailers, the device is rumored to be replacing the 16GB nexus 7 and will apparently retail for the same price as the existing model. Yesterday the 32GB Nexus 7 appeared at an online retailer, and now it has been spotted in the Christmas gift guide of UK retailer Argos, the guys from the Next Web spoke to Argos and were told that the device would be available around Christmas.

| EU Regulators Want Google To Improve Privacy Policy Posted: 17 Oct 2012 04:19 AM PDT Google has come under scrutiny from the European regulators when it simplified its privacy policy to cover a number of the service it offered, and now after an investigation by EU regulators, they have recommended that Google should improve their privacy policy. Independent French watchdog, CNiL has now released results of their investigation into Google’s privacy policy, and has published an open letter to Google’s CEO Larry Page.

| LG Optimus G Headed To KDDI Japan November 2nd Posted: 17 Oct 2012 01:48 AM PDT Japan’s KDDI has announced that they will be offering LG’s new flagship Android smartphone, the LG Optimus G on their network on Japan from the 2nd of November, and the device will be avaialble in both blue and white. The LG Optimus G features a quad core 1.5GHz Krait Snapdragon S4 processor, there is also 2GB of RAM and the handset comes with 4G LTE, plus a 4.7 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels.

| Average iOS App Size Has Increase By 16 Percent In Six Months Posted: 17 Oct 2012 01:38 AM PDT The average size of Apple’s iOS apps has apparently increased significantly over the last six months, according to a recent report by ABI research the average size of each iOS app has increased by around 16 percent from March to September of this year. Games seem to be the apps which have increased in size the most, with the average size of games increasing by around 42 percent from March to September of 2012.

Now the 32GB Nexus 7 tablet has been spotted again, the device has turned up on the Staples Advantage website, and what is interesting is the price, the device is listed for $248.37, which is slightly less than the existing price of the 16GB model.
