However hopefully if the weather allows, he will be re-attempting to jump this Sunday 14th at 8:30am EDT. Taking him up to 120,000 feet height above the Earth is a special balloon called the Red Bull Stratos, which has been specially created to hold a colossal 30 million cubic foot (843,497 cubic meters) of helium gas. | Apple To Launch iPad Mini On October 23rd (Rumor) Posted: 12 Oct 2012 04:19 AM PDT We were expecting Apple to send out invites to their iPad Mini launch event this week, unfortunately that did not happen, and now according to AllThingsD, Apple will launch their new iPad Mini on October the 23rd. Apple normally holds its iPad and iPhone events on a Wednesday, although according to AllThingsD the event will now be held on Tuesday the 23rd of October, which is just a couple of days before Microsoft’s Windows 8 and Surface tablet launch date.

| Samsung Galaxy S III Mini Goes Up For Pre-order With UK Carriers Posted: 12 Oct 2012 04:11 AM PDT Earlier today we heard that the SIM free version of the Samsung Galaxy S III mini had gone up for pre-order in the UK, and now mobile phone retailer Phones4U is taking pre-orders of the device and it is available with a number of the UK’s carriers. The carriers who will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini include Vodafone, O2 and Orange, and there are a number of different contract options available with the various carriers.

| Apple Wins Stay On iPhone And iPad Ban In South Korea Posted: 12 Oct 2012 03:59 AM PDT Apple and Samsung are involved on a number of different legal disputes, one of those is in South Korea, and back in August some of Apple’s device were banned in the country after a court ruling. Now Apple has won an appeal which will see the ban put on hold until the case is head in court, in August the court found that Apple and Samsung had both infringed on each others patents, and both companies had certain devices banned in South Korea.

| Samsung Galaxy Nexus Sales Ban Overtuned By Appeal Posted: 12 Oct 2012 01:51 AM PDT Samsung and Apple are engaged in various lawsuits, in the US Apple were awarded over $1 billion worth of damages from Samsung, and one of Samsung’s devices which was banned by the court has now had the ban overturned. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus was banned in a preliminary injunction by the US courts, but the US Court of Appeals has now reversed the ban on the handset in the US.

The photo below was posted to German site Mobile Geeks, and the device is rumored to come with a dual core 1.5GHz Cortex A9 processor and 1GB of RAM, and either 8GB or 16GB of built in storage.

| SIM Free Samsung Galaxy S III Mini UK Price Revealed Posted: 12 Oct 2012 12:14 AM PDT Yesterday Samsung announced their new Galaxy S III Mini smartphone, and now we have some pricing details for the SIM free version of the Galaxy S III mini for the UK, the handset will retail for £298.80 including taxes. The Samsung Galaxy S III Mini, as the name suggests is a smaller version of the Galaxy S III, and whilst it doesn’t have the same high end specifications as the S III it seems like a good device for the price, and we suspect it will end up being a popular smartphone.
