We learn by doing and some robots take the same approach. Researchers at the Technical University of Darmstadt have developed algorithms that prove that robot arms just need practice to learn complex activities. Practice makes perfect.

It’s Legal to Jailbreak an iPhone, Not an iPad

Legally speaking, jailbreaking an iOS device has always been a grey area. Well, now it is clearer. The US Copyright Office issued an exemption to the Digital Millenium Copyright Act that jailbreaking a device does not violate US copyright law.

Xbox SmartGlass now available in Google Play

Coming right after the Dashboard update for the Xbox 360, Microsoft’s SmartGlass integration is now available for Android users. The companion app allows direct control of some console features from your Google-powered devices. Xbox 360 addicts will love it.

Diablo 3 Linux users auto-banned by Blizzard

Linux-Wine users who play Diablo 3 are not happy. That’s because they are still being hammered by Blizzard's auto-ban service. WineHQ forums have already seen many Linux users complaining about the auto-ban situation. Auto-bans went into effect a few weeks after Linux users started to play the game.

Nexus 4 support page goes online

The LG Nexus 4 is due to be revealed next Monday. It could be the first of many devices to carry the Nexus brand name, and we have yet another confirmation that points toward the existence of the LG E960, a support page going live on the LG website. This support page isn’t available on every version of the company's site, but UK and Australian versions are there to see. You can’t deny it any longer.
