Samsung had previously announced that there would be a special edition of the Samsung GALAXY Note phablet produced for the Summer Olympics in London. Now we have learned that a special version of the Samsung Galaxy S III is available in Taiwan to celebrate the Summer Olympics in London.

Dead Trigger for Android is free

Last month we told you that Dead Trigger would be making the jump from iOS to Android. That was great news. It gets better however if you thought that $0.99 was way too much to spend. It is now free.

Students Create Wi-Fi Robot That Can Use The Network It Deploys

What if you could deploy your own Wi-Fi network with a robot, in an unconnected area? That would be pretty convenient right? And not just for checking your email and Facebook. A team of students at Northeastern University have built a robot that can do just that and it has many potential applications.

Samsung Galaxy S III gets X-rayed

We’ve all seen the gadget teardowns. They are great on one hand because we get to see what’s inside, but unfortunately they often destroy the device in question. One way around this problem is to X-ray them. If you have access to an X-ray machine anyway. Engadget reader Alex does, so we get to see what this gadget looks like on the inside, without having to take it apart.
