| Assassins Creed 3 PC Game Delayed Posted: 13 Jul 2012 04:39 AM PDT It has been confirmed today by Ubisoft that rumours suggesting that the PC version of the new Assassins Creed 3 PC Game being delayed, were in fact correct. The announcement for the delay was made by Ubisoft creative lead Alex Hutchinson at Comic-Con in San Deigo. Who revealed that the Assassins Creed 3 PC Game currently under development will not be launching on the same day as the Xbox 360 and PS3 console games. | Android Now On 51.8 Percent Of US Smartphones Posted: 13 Jul 2012 04:20 AM PDT According to a recent report by research firm Nielsen, Google’s Android platform is now on 51.8 percent of US smartphones, this is for the second quarter of 2012. The report also says that of all the smartphones purchased over the last three months, Android made up a total of 54.6 percent of all new smartphones.

| Chinese Vendors Taking Orders On iPhone 5 Posted: 13 Jul 2012 03:10 AM PDT Apple has yet to announce this years iPhone, we are expecting the device to launch around September or October of this year, 12 months on from the launch of the iPhone 4S. The handset will be Apple’s sixth generation iPhone, and if Apple follows its previous iPhone naming scheme the device will be called the iPhone 5, and it would appear that some Chinese vendors have already started taking orders for a device which has yet to be announced.

| Motorola XT907 For Verizon Leaked Posted: 13 Jul 2012 02:37 AM PDT It looks like Motorola has a new Android smartphone headed to Verizon Wireless in the US, the device is apparently the Motorola XT907, as you can see from the photo below it comes with the Verizon branding. The Motorola XT907 is a 4G LTE smartphone, and it will apparently come with an HD camera and possibly a qHD resolution display, plus Qulacomm’s Snapdragon S4 processor.

| LG To Pay $380 Million Settlement In LCD Price Fixing Case Posted: 13 Jul 2012 02:07 AM PDT We recently heard that Toshiba was fined $87 million in the LCD price fixing case, and now LG will pay a settlement of $380 million to settle a civial lawsuit over price fixing on LCD displays. As well as the $380 million that will be paid by LG, Au Optronics will pay a settlement of$170 million and Toshiba will pay a settlement of $21 million, this is on top of the fine recently levied on Toshiba.

| New Quad Core 1.7GHz HTC Smartphone Appears In Benchmarks Posted: 13 Jul 2012 01:18 AM PDT We just heard about a new quad core Android tablet from HTC, the HTC Vertex HD, and now it would appear that HTC also has a new quad core Android smartphone planned. According to the guys over at Pocket Now, the device is codenamed the Evitare and is apparently a new version of the HTC One X, and the device features a quad core 1.7GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. The device also features a HD display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, that is all we know so far, there are no details on whether the handset will share a similar design to the One X or whether it will be a completely new device altogether. Considering HTC recently announced that they would be cutting down on the number of smartphone they produced, we suspect the device could be a more powerful variant of the HTC One X.
