Dell has now come back and said that the ultrabook will launch this fall in select geographies. There is no indication at this point what specific areas will get the ultrabook. | Acer Iconia A110 Android Tablet Hits The FCC Posted: 20 Jul 2012 05:09 AM PDT Last month Acer announced their latest Android tablet, the Iconia Tab A110, which is expected to go on sale some time in quarter three, and it looks like it is getting closer to release as the device has just appeared at the FCC. The Acer Iconia Tab A110 comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and features a 7 inch touchscreen display, and it is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.

| LG Spectrum Android 4.0 ICS Update Coming Soon Posted: 20 Jul 2012 04:30 AM PDT We recently heard that the Android 4.0 update for the LG Spectrum had been leaked, and now it looks like the official update is ready to be released and should be available shortly. The news comes from a rep over at LG forums who has said that the update is ready for the device and they are just waiting on Verizon to announce a date for the roll out.

| Archos 97 Carbon Android Tablet Appears At The FCC Posted: 20 Jul 2012 03:18 AM PDT The Archos 97 Carbon Android tablet was announced earlier this month, the device is expected to go on sale in the US some time before the end of the month, and it looks like we are getting closer to release as the tablet has just passed through the FCC. The Archos 97 Carbon will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and features a 9.5 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.

| Samsung Jasper For Verizon Leaked Posted: 20 Jul 2012 03:06 AM PDT It looks like Samsung is about to launch another new Android smartphone, the Samsung Jasper which will be headed to Verizon Wireless, the handset will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Samsung Jasper was leaked on Twitter by @evleaks and the device will feature a dual cor 1.5GHz Snapdragon MSM8960 processor and a display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.

According to a recent report by ZDNET, Microsoft will release Windows Phone 8 RTM (Release to Manufacturing) in September, and the platform will officially launch some time in November.

According to the guys over at The Verge, the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update has started rolling out as an OTA update to the i9023 and i9020T hardware variants of the Nexus S.

| Sony Xperia GX Appears At The FCC Posted: 20 Jul 2012 12:18 AM PDT The Sony Xperia GX was announced for Japan a while back, and now it would appear that the device may be headed to the US as it has just appeared at the FCC. As a reminder the Xperia GX features a 4.6 inch Mobile Bravia display and a dual core 1.5GHz processor plus a 13 megapixel camera which can record full HD video in 1080p and also features an LED flash, plus 16GB of built in storage.
