Apple withdraws Mac line from EPEAT certification

Apple has withdrawn all of its Mac products from EPEAT certification and will no longer be submitting items for review. To refresh your memory, EPEAT is used by hundreds of companies, universities and government agencies in dozens of countries as an index of electronics recyclability. Despite their withdrawal of all Macs, most of the models still meet EPEAT standards.

Rovio rumored to be working on new game featuring the pigs

Nokia Lumia 1001 leaked

In case you don’t know, a Remote Device Access allows those using a browser to access Nokia hardware. It is a handy way for developers to test their code on hardware that they don’t actually have in front of them. The RDA helped reveal the Nokia Lumia 900 last year, when it was referred to as the Nokia 900 Windows Phone. Now, the RDA is showing the Nokia Lumia 1001 and it seems like a good bet that it is the model number.

Spike case with QWERTY keyboard for the iPhone

Many have tried and failed to offer a good qwerty keyboard for the iPhone. Spike might be the best attempt yet. Developed by SoloMatrix, Spike turns a physical QWERTY keyboard into part of a protective case so that it doesn’t stand out and bulk things up too much.
