| Samsung Files Appeal Against US Galaxy Nexus Ban Posted: 02 Jul 2012 05:52 AM PDT On Friday Apple were awarded a ban on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in the US, after Judge Lucy Koh said that the device had likely infringed on four of Apple’s patents. We heard earlier that Samsung would be appealing the decision, and they have now filed their appeal with a court in the US, something which the previously did with the Galaxy Tab 10.1 when that device was banned.

Apple’s new iCloud service has now taken over from MobileMe, although it doesn’t offer everything that MobileMe used to, you will no longer have access to iDisk, iWeb and the gallery.

| Apple Wins Injunction Against Samsung Galaxy Nexus In The US Posted: 02 Jul 2012 01:35 AM PDT Last week Apple won an injunction against the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the US, and now there is more bad news for Samsung as Apple has also won an injunction against the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Last Friday US district Judge Lucy Koh granted Apple an injunction against Samsung and the sale of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in the US, and said that it is likely that Apple will be able to prove at trial the the Galaxy Nexus infringes on four of Apple’s patents.

| Apple Settles Proview iPad Lawsuit For $60 Million Posted: 01 Jul 2012 11:51 PM PDT Apple and Proview have been engaged in a lawsuit in China for a while over the iPad trademark which Proview previously sold to Apple, although Proview claimed that the sale did not include the rights to the iPad name in China. We previously heard that Proview had turned down a settlement with Apple which was reported to be worth $16 million, and now it would appear the two companies have finally settled the lawsuit.
