Leaked Details Surface on COD Black Ops 2

Assassin’s Creed 3 Pre-Orders Breaking Ubisoft Records

Ubisoft has revealed this week that if pre-orders from its new upcoming Assassin’s Creed 3 game continue as they have over the past few weeks. The new upcoming game that is currently in development will smash previous Ubisoft records.

After only three weeks of Assassin’s Creed 3 being available for pre-order in North America, its pre-orders are higher than any previous Assassin’s Creed game in the same time period.

CSound Music Programming Language Arriving On iPad

Users of CSound music programming language who own an iPad might be pleased to earn that a new Csound iOS application called CSound Touch will be arriving on Apple’s iPad device very soon.

Csound is a programming language designed and optimised for sound rendering and signal processing. The language consists of over 1300 opcodes, the operational codes that sound designers use to build “instruments” or patches.

New Lego Marvel Avengers Characters Unveiled

The new Avengers movie is set to land in cinemas during the summer 2012, and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series "The Avengers," first published in 1963.

Researchers Start To Build World Largest Telescope (video)

Construction has now started on the worlds largest telescope the Giant Magellan Telescope in the Chilean Andes. The Giant Magellan Telescope, GMT  for short is a ground-based telescope which is hoped will be completed in 2019, and will have over four times the light-gathering ability of existing telescopes currently in use.

BioShock 2 Arrives In The Mac App Store

Feral Interactive have this week launched their great BioShock 2 game which was developed by 2K Marin on to the Mac App Store. Allowing Mac owners to now enjoy the games unique storyline.

Originally BioShock 2 was released in February 2010, so Mac fans haven’t had to wait to long for the game to arrive on their preferred operating system, just two years.

HTC One X Lands In The UK April 5th

We finally have some information on the launch date of the HTC One X here in the UK, the device will be available from the 5th of April, and retailers will start shipping the handsets out to customers who have pre-ordered on the 4th of April.

The guys over at Unlocked Mobiles just sent us these photos of the HTC One X, and the handset will be available for £497.98 SIM free including taxes.

RIM Says They Are Not Abandoning Consumer BlackBerry Market

Earlier today we head RIM’s latest financial results, where the company had made made a loss of $125m for their last financial quarter, And RIM’s CEO Thorsten Heins said that they would be concentrating on their core market of business customers.

This led to speculation that RIM would be abandoning the consumer market for BlackBerry devices, and now RIM has confirmed that they will continue to develop blackberry devices for consumers.

Next Generation DICE+ Digital Chance Cubes (video)

Microsoft Buys XboxFL Domain Names

It looks like Microsoft has acquired two new domains names which are related to its Xbox console, the domain names are XboxFL.com and XboxFL.ent, and were discovered by the guys over at Fusible.

There are no details as yet on what Microsoft has planned for the two domains names, and they are currently being redirected to Microsoft’s Bing.

Hackers Can Easily Lift Credit Card Data From Old Xbox Consoles

It has been discovered by researchers at Philadelphia's Drexel University, that credit card data on older Xbox 360 systems that have been traded in or sold on. may be vulnerable to being hacked fro the previous owners credit card information. The team has discovered that even restoring your console to factory settings won’t remove some of the data stored on the Xbox 360.

LG Optimus Elite For Sprint and Virgin Leaked

It looks like both Sprint and Virgin Mobile are about to get a new budget Android smartphone on their networks in the US, the LG Optimus Elite, which you can see in the photos below.

T-Mobile Amaze 4G And Sensation 4G To Get Android 4.0 Update Soon

Asus Transformer Prime Update Starts Rolling Out

HTC One S Headed To T-Mobile 22nd Of April

HTC announced a range of new android handsets at MWC last month, one of those is the new HTC One S and it looks like the device is headed to US mobile carrier on the 22nd of April.

New Ridley Scott Prometheus Film Trailer (video)

A couple of weeks ago the first trailer for Ridley Scott's new Prometheus film was released, since then a few teasers have also trickled out. But this latest trailer reveals a little more of the action, horror and madness you can expect within the film once its officially released.

The new Ridley Scott Prometheus film is a prequel to Scott’s 1979 film Alien, and includes rewrites of Spaihts’s script by Lindelof who developed a separate story that precedes the events of Alien, but is not directly connected to the films in the Alien franchise.

Sony Xperia Play Gets Official Android 4.0 Beta ROM

Sniper Elite V2 Trailer (video)

Developer Rebellion and publisher 505 Games are currently working on the new Sniper Elite V2 game, which is a reboot of the 2005 Sniper Elite for PC, PS2, Wii, and Xbox.

HTC One X Gets Unboxed (Video)

RIM Reports $125 Million Loss, Will Focus On Business Customers

RIM,the makers of BlackBerry smartphones and tablets has announced a net loss of $125m for the three months to the 3rd of March 2012, this compares to a profit of $934m for the same period last year.

The company revenues have also fallen fro $5.2 billion to $4,2 billion, and shipments of their BlackBerry devices fell 11 percent on the same period last year.
