| Latest Android Distribution Details Released Posted: 06 Mar 2012 07:34 AM PST Google has released the latest distribution details for its Android platform, and it looks like the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has seen a small increase since the last figures were released. Android 4.0 is now on around 1.6 percent of all Android devices, this is up from 1 percent in February, still in the top spot in Android 2.3 Gingerbread with a 66.5 percent and after that we have Android 2.2 Froyo with a 25.3 percent share. | LG Optimus Vu Launched In Korea Posted: 06 Mar 2012 07:05 AM PST We saw the new LG Optimus Vu at MWC last month, and now the device has gone on sale in Korea for 990,00 won, which works out at around $890 SIM free, and the Korean version comes with a built in TV tuner. As a reminder, the LG Optimus Vu features a 5 inch display that has a 4:3 aspect ratio and comes with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, the device is powered by a dual core 1.5GHz processor and it will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

| Posted: 06 Mar 2012 06:10 AM PST Blizzard announced a while back that Diablo III would launch some time in quarter two of 2012, which means it will launch some time between April and June of this year. Now it would appear that we may have a possible launch date, the 17th of April, of course this launch date has yet to be confirmed by Blizzard, but according to a recent report some major European retailers have been told to ensure they have shelf space ready for a new release on the 17th of April.

| Asus Transformer TF101 Android ICS Update Problems Fix In The Works Posted: 06 Mar 2012 05:11 AM PST A couple of weeks ago Asus released the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for their original Transformer TF101 Android tablet, since the update was release a number of users have reported problems with their devices. The problems encountered by owners of the Transformer TF101 tablet since they upgraded to ICS have included random reboots, and device lock ups, plus a number of other bugs, Asus has now announced that they are working on a fix for the issues.

| Lego Space Shuttle Gets Launched Into Space (Video) Posted: 06 Mar 2012 05:02 AM PST Raul Oiada, a Romanian physicist and an Australian entrepreneur Steve Sammartino decided to launch a Lego Space Shuttle into space and capture the whole thing on video. They sent the Lego Space Shuttle into space on 1,600g meteo balloon which was filled with helium and they capture the space shuttles flight using a GoPro Hero camera and tracked it using a Spot GPS, have a look at the video of it in action below.

| Nokia Lumia 800 Battery Update Starts Rolling Out Posted: 06 Mar 2012 04:17 AM PST Last week we heard that Nokia would be rolling out a new firmware update to their Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone smartphone, the update is reported to come with some additional fixes for battery problems as well as some other bug fixes. It would appear that Nokia has started rolling out the firmware update to certain Lumia 800 handsets, with users in Singapore reporting that the update is now live.

| Nintendo Sells 4.5 Million 3DS Consoles In US In 12 Months Posted: 06 Mar 2012 04:11 AM PST Nintendo has today released some sales figures for its new 3DS console in the US, and according to the release Nintendo has sold a total of 4.5 million 3DS consoles in the first year since the device was released. Nintendo has said that this is almost double the 2.3 million first year sales for the Nintendo DS console, so we guess that the 3DS has been a success for Nintendo.

| Google And Motorola Ordered To Give Apple Android Development Data Posted: 06 Mar 2012 01:33 AM PST Google and Motorola have been ordered by a US Judge to hand over information about the development of Google’s Android OS to Apple, in relation to a patent lawsuit. Motorola also have to give Apple information relating to the $12.5 billion takeover of Motorola Mobility by Google, and it is relating to a patent lawsuit between Apple and Motorola that was filed back in 2010.

Back in January of this year Google made their App Inventor for Android, Open Source, now today MIT have now announced that they have now launched their first beta version of the new App Inventor to the public. When the beta App Inventor for Android site launched earlier today it received so much traffic that the site buckled under the load. But now everything seems to be back as planned. | Nokia 808 PureView Smartphone Not Coming To North America Posted: 05 Mar 2012 11:56 PM PST Then Nokia 808 PureView is a Symbian Belle smartphone that Nokia announced at this years MWC 2012, and the device comes with a 41 megapixel camera. Now it would appear that Nokia wont be releasing the Nokia 808 PureView in North America, presumably because of lack of interest from the US carriers.

| Google Increases Android App Size Limit To 4GB Posted: 05 Mar 2012 11:19 PM PST Apps on Google’s Android Market have been previously limited to a maximum size of 50MB, that is about to change as Google has announced that they have now increased the maximum app size to 4GB. The APK file size will still remain at the 50MB limit, but expansion files can now be attached to each applications, with a total of two files with a limit of 2GB each.
