Android 4.0 is now on around 1.6 percent of all Android devices, this is up from 1 percent in February, still in the top spot in Android 2.3 Gingerbread with a 66.5 percent and after that we have Android 2.2 Froyo with a 25.3 percent share. Now it would appear that we may have a possible launch date, the 17th of April, of course this launch date has yet to be confirmed by Blizzard, but according to a recent report some major European retailers have been told to ensure they have shelf space ready for a new release on the 17th of April. Google And Motorola Ordered To Give Apple Android Development Data Posted: 06 Mar 2012 01:33 AM PST Google and Motorola have been ordered by a US Judge to hand over information about the development of Google’s Android OS to Apple, in relation to a patent lawsuit. Motorola also have to give Apple information relating to the $12.5 billion takeover of Motorola Mobility by Google, and it is relating to a patent lawsuit between Apple and Motorola that was filed back in 2010. MIT Launches New App Inventor For Android Into Public Beta Posted: 06 Mar 2012 01:18 AM PST Anyone who enjoyed using the Google’s App Inventor for Android in its first release will be pleased to know that is now returned thanks to MIT. Back in January of this year Google made their App Inventor for Android, Open Source, now today MIT have now announced that they have now launched their first beta version of the new App Inventor to the public. When the beta App Inventor for Android site launched earlier today it received so much traffic that the site buckled under the load. But now everything seems to be back as planned. The APK file size will still remain at the 50MB limit, but expansion files can now be attached to each applications, with a total of two files with a limit of 2GB each.
