iPad gets new credit card reader from Eventbrite

Eventbrite is an online ticketing platform is very near $1 billion in gross ticket sales. Natural Gas To Improve Boeing Jets Fuel Efficient By 60 Percent

Boeing has this week unveiled a new aircraft and propulsion system called SUGAR Freeze, which has been developed by Boeing to revolutionise air travel and make their planes 60 percent more fuel efficient.

SUGAR which stands for Subsonic Ultra Green Aircraft Research was a project commissioned by NASA and can be seen pictured at the bottom of this article . The new aircraft concept uses cryogenically stored liquified natural gas, which completes the Freeze part of the concepts name.

MIT Develops Camera That Can See Around Corners (Video)

Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge have created a camera which can basically see around corners using lasers.

They use a laser pulse to bounce photons of surfaces, the photos then travel back to the camera and it can measure how far away an unseen object is, have a look at the video of it in cation below.

Air Display App Receives HiDPI Support For New iPad 3

Air Display has announced that its now added HiDPI support to its application for the new iPad 3 to support Apple’s new retina screen, which has been fitted to the new iPad.

The new support has been added the latest Air Display update which is currently making its way through Apple’s approval process and is expected to shortly land in the iTunes App Store ready to download.

Sky Announces NOW TV Internet TV Service

UK broadcaster Sky has announced a new digital TV service, called Now TV, which will offer access to Sky content on a range of Internet connected devices.

NOW TV will allow users of the service to watch films from SKY Movies and TV shows from Sky’s range of channels, and you wont have to sign up to a contract to access the service, instead you will be able to pay just for the content you watch, or of course you can pay a monthly fee to have access to all their shows.

Skyrim : The Siege of Markarth, Epic Battle (video)

A new Skyrim epic battle has been created showing a battle on the steps of ancient Markarth between Forsworn, and the Nords. With both using hand-to-hand combat, magic and melee tactics to beat the other into submission.

The Skyrim battle scene has been created by Tyrannicon and is the second in the series. Following on from the first which was released back in the middle of February.

Carbon Fiber Daggers

These specialist carbon fiber daggers weight between just 20.67 grams and 31.2 grams, and have been constructed from aerospace grade woven and uni-directional pre-preg.

Unfortunately the carbon fiber doesn’t allow the blades on the daggers to hold and edge, but they can be sharpened to a certain extent by simply using sandpaper or even a sharpening stone. But have really been designed for combat, self-defense and stabbing.

File Sharing Drones Already Developed

Yesterday we heard that the Pirate Bay intends to develop low orbit drones to host parts of their website, well it turns out that someone has already developed some file sharing drones.

Liam Young, who is the co-founder of Tomorrow’s Thoughts Today, was amazed at the Pirate Bays announcement, because he has been working on building the technology.

KORG Unveils New MicroKEY MIDI Keyboard

RIM Says Jailbreaking Your PlayBook Will Void Your Warranty

Users of the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet have been able to jailbreak their device for a while now, although there has been no official word from RIM until now on how this will affect your device.

DRONE Bluetooth Smartphone And Tablets Controller (video)

Sony Xperia S Starts Shipping Globally

Sony’s has announced that their latest Android smartphone the Sony Xperia S has now started shipping globally, which means the handset should shortly be available from carriers and retailers around the world.

The Sony Xperia S comes with a 4.3 inch HD multi-touch display that features a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, processing is provided by a dual core 1.5GHz processor.

LG Optimus M+ For Metro PCS Announced

LG and Metro PCS are releasing a new version of their LG Optimus M smartphone, the LG Optimus M+ which comes with some upgraded hardware over the previous version.

the LG Optimus M+ will feature a 3.5 inch touchscreen display as opposed to a 3.2 inch display on the original handset, and it will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

HTC One V Headed To Virgin Mobile

HTC announced a range of new smartphones last month, one of those was the HTC One V and now it would appear that the handset is headed to Virgin Mobile.

The HTC one V is expected to retail for less than $200 when it lands on Virgin Mobile some time this Spring, and the device comes with Android 4.0 ice Cream Sandwich and the new HTC Sense 4.0.

The Walking Dead Debut Trailer Released (video)

Telltale Games, has released a new debut teaser trailer for their new The Walking Dead video game, which is currently under development. Telltale Games has been responsible for producing a number of other popular iOS game including Back to the Future and Monkey Island, so you can expect great things from the new title.

Motorola RAZR Gets Update In Europe

Motorola has released an update for the European version of the Motorola RAZR, unfortunately the update isn’t the Android ICS one, instead they have released a firmware update for the handset.

Apple Siri Gets Updated, Further Yelp Integration

Sony Xperia Neo L Android 4.0 Smartphone Announced

Sony has announced another new Android smartphone, the Sony Xperia Neo L, which is Sony’s first Android device that will come with Android 4.0 ICS out of the box.

The device will launch in China, and it features a single core 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM, plus a 4 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels.

Toshiba LT170 Android 7 Inch Tablet Unveiled

A new Android tablet has been unveiled by Toshiba this week which will be launching in the next week or so for around €299. The new Toshiba LT170 is equipped with a 7 inch capacitive multitouch screen sporting a resolution of 1024 x 600.

Inside the Toshiba LT170 is a Freescale i.MX53 1 GHz processor supported by 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal flash memory for file and media storage.

Galaxy Nexus To Get Android 4.0.5 Next Month

It looks like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus may be getting an update to Android 4.0.5 some time next month, as Verizon are reported to be testing the update for the handset.

According to @black_man_x, is currently being tested on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus with US mobile carrier Verizon, and is expected to be released early in April.

New Samsung Galaxy S III Image Leaked

We heard earlier today that we may get an official announcement from Samsung on their new Galaxy S III smartphone some time in April, and now another image has been leaked which is reported to be of Samsung’s new flagship Android smartphone.

The image below is from the guys over at GSM helpdesk, and it apparently looks very similar to previous leaked images of the handset.

TiVo Android App In Development, iOS App Update Rolls Out

TiVo has announced a new update has rolled out for their iOS application, taking the release to version 1.9. The new update brings with it new additions to “Browse”, making it easier to discover and find TV shows and films.

TiVo have also added the ability to create a WishList search within the iOS app. Allowing you to find a TV show or movie you want to watch, and add it to a list if its not currently available to record. Once added the program or film will automatically record the show when it next appears on TV.

Windows Phone Launches In China

The first Windows Phone smartphone has gone on sale in China today, the HTC Eternity, which is basically a HTC Titan, and the device comes with a 4.7 inch display and front and rear facing cameras.

Microsoft have also shown off their new Chinese language interface for Windows Phone, and we can expect more devices to launch later this week with the latest version of Microsoft’s mobile OS Windows Phone Tango.

LA Noire Touch Edition For Android Via OnLive Announced

Blizzard Admits Star Wars Old Republic Possibly Behind Dwindling World of Warcraft Numbers
