Rooted Android phones remain vulnerable to a security loophole regarding Google Wallet already fixed on standard-issued phones. Google is making sure that users are aware of this, and has included a warning when using Google Wallet that the rooted decice is not compatible.

Billet Dock Hits Kickstarter Looking for Loot

There seems to be no end to the number of projects that hit Kickstarter looking for the money for development. One of the latest products to hit Kickstarter is the Billet Dock. This is an iPad or iPhone dock and is easy use. At reminds me more the little of a slide from a handgun. The device is made from a milled chunk of billet aluminum and has a slot in it for the iPad and the iPhone along with their charging adapters.

Microsoft’s new SkyDrive service which is soon to launch and integrate into Windows Live, was thought to offer a SugarSync, Dropbox style PC to PC Sync service. But its now been revealed by Mike Torres via a Windows 8 blog post that Microsoft’s SkyDrive will not allow users to set up device to device sync, only "device to SkyDrive".

Slingshot modder Joerg Sprave has unveiled his latest lethal creation this week, and this time rather than firing ball bearings his new creation fires pencils. Not only that but the pencil crossbow is also pump action and allows you to fire 10 pencils a fast as you can pump the action, over a range of 5m. Check out the new lethal pump action pencil crossbow or “Nerd Revenge 2000″ as Sprave calls it in action after the break.

Instagram Coming To Android March 11th?

We know that Instagram, one of the most popular apps on apple’s iOS platform is on its way to Google’s Android platform, and now it would appear that we may have a possible launch date.

According to a recent report, Instagram may launch on Android on the 11th of March at this years SXSW, of course this has yet to be confirmed by Instagram.

Earlier today we told you that Apple had reached over 25 billion downloads from their App Store at the end of last week, and the company were giving the person who downloaded the 25th billionth app a $10,000 iTunes and app store voucher.

Apple has now announced who their 25th billionth downloader was, Chunli Fu of Qingdao, China, who downloaded the game Where’s My Water.

Asus To Build Google Play Android Tablet?

We have already heard a few rumors that a couple of different manufacturers are working on the first Google branded tablet, which was rumored to be called the Google Nexus tablet, although after some information that was revealed last week it looks like it will end up being called the Google Play tablet.

On the weekend we had confirmation that Android 5.0 would be called Android Jelly Bean, the new came from Asus, who are apparently working closely with Google on something.

Mercedes Creates Invisible Car Using LEDs (Video)

Mercedes Benz has created an invisible car for one of its adverts, using some LEDs and a camera, the invisible car was created to promote Mercedes new F-CELL Hydrogen technology.

On one side of the car there is a camera which captures images and then sends them to the LEDs on the other side of the car, showing what you would see if the car wasn’t there have a look at the video of it in action below.

Sony Tablet P Lands On AT&T

The Sony Tablet P, which is a dual screen Android tablet is now available from US mobile carrier AT&T for $399 when you sign up to a new two year contract with the carrier.

The Sony Tablet P features two 5.5 inch displays which have a resolution of 1024 x 800 pixels, and the device is powered by a dual core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.

Apple Gets Ready For Its iPad 3 Event (Photos)

Nokia PureView Technology Headed To Their Windows Phone Devices

One of the most interesting smartphones that Nokia announced at this years Mobile World Congress was the new Nokia 808 PureView, a smartphone which features a 41 megapixel camera and runs Symbian Belle.

Now Nokia has confirmed that we will see the companies PureView technology in future Windows Phone devices, although they didn’t reveal any specifics on when we would see the technology in new Windows Phone smartphones.

A trailer has been released for new The Avengers movie, which is surely to be a summer blockbuster movie, and teams up Marvel superheros consisting of Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow, to fight a global threat.

The team is assembled after Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., needs a team to safe the world from the brink of disaster. Watch the new trailer after the jump for a glimpse of what you can expected once the film is officially released.

Samsung Galaxy S II Android 4.0 ICS Update Coming March 15th?

Samsung announced a while back that they would be releasing the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy S II before the end of quarter one.

Now it would appear that we may have a possible date for the release of Android 4.0 ICS for the Galaxy S II, according to a recent Facebook post from Samsung Israel, who have said that Android 4.0 will be released on the 15th of March.

Details of Archos’s next generation of tablets has leaked out, providing us with a glimpse of what we can expect before they have been officially announced by Archos.

Apple’s App Store Hits 25 Billion Downloads

Apple launched their App Store back in 2008, and since then there have been a total of 25 billion applications downloaded, and the 25th billionth pp was downloaded near the end of last week.

Apple has yet to announce who downloaded the 25th billionth app, but the person who did will get a $10,000 gift card from Apple, for the iTunes, Mac App Store and iOS App Store.

iPads Running iOS 6 Discovered In Server Logs

The new iPad 3 which is expected to be announced this Wednesday is rumored to come with iOS 5.1, but now the guys over at Ars Technica have discovered another version of Apple’s mobile OS in their server logs, iOS 6.0.

As well as iPads running iOS 6.0, the guys from Ars also discovered a device with a 2048 x 1536 resolution display, which could be that of the new iPad 3.

The next major release of Google’s Android OS will be called Android Jelly Bean, and this will be Android 5.0, and now it would appear that we have some details on what the next version after Android Jelly Bean will be called.

According to the guys over at The Verge, After Android Jelly Bean comes Android Key Lime Pie, which we presume will be Android 6.0, and we can expect it to be release next year if Google continues with their one major release a year schedule.

iPad 3 Parts Shown Off On Video

Apple will announce the new iPad 3 or iPad HD later this week on Wednesday, we have heard lots of rumors about the new iPad 3, the device is reported to come with a HD display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.

We have also seen a few parts which are reported to be from the iPad 3, and now the guys from MICgadget decided to put them together and compare them to the existing iPad 2, which you can see in the video below.
