Sprint iPad Shows Up In Best Buy Listings

Sprint may be finally getting an iPad if a discovery on Friday pans out. 14 entries for a “Sprint iPad new” were found in the inventory database and revealed by an Engadget tipster. We don’t have much info to go on and there is no hint of any release dates.

PayPal Details New Digital Wallet Tech

In February, PayPal provided some details on how it planned to roll out its in-store payment services. They plan to demonstrate at the SXSW conference in Austin how it hopes to distinguish its consumer-side digital wallet service from the competition, which includes Google Wallet and Isis. PayPal hopes to gain users by offering more payment flexibility, the ability to generate wish lists, and by providing greater account control for the user.

Google Pays Apple $1 Billion To Be Search Default

Talk about a mega blockbuster mammoth of a deal! According to one analyst, Google could be paying as much as $1 billion to be the default search engine in Safari on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac systems. I guess they really do have more money than God. In fact, God probably bugs them for lunch money at this point.

Sony Not Done With The PSP, Will Launch A Blue Version In Japan By April

You might think that Sony is finished with the PSP, what with the PS Vita, but that’s not the case. It’s still pretty popular in Japan. This new version of the PSP will be blue with yellow text on the front. Obviously there is no enhanced hardware, but in the bundle you will also get a 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo storage card, a soft shell zipper case, blue cleaning cloth and a few more extras.

Apple To Close iWork.com Service In July

Fans of Apple’s iWork will be sad to know that the web service will be shut down in July. This comes after Microsoft announced that its Windows Mobile Marketplace will be taken offline in May. Web services seem to be dropping like flies. The exact date that they will shut down the iWork.com beta service is July 31st, 2012. The choice was simple since Apple now iCloud which can do pretty much the same things.

New iPads Start Shipping In The UK

In preparation for an expected delivery date next Friday, on March 16th. Apple has now started shipping their new iPads to UK customers, sending out confirmations via email. So if you have pre-ordered your new iPad expect to receive a shipping confirmation shortly.

Unfortunately though for some UK customers, Apple has also sent out emails stating that some shipments will not arrive on its originally scheduled delivery date.  But be delayed to somewhere between March 16-20th.
