The artificial bone is created by dipping a sample into a variety of different substances, the artificial bone is then built up over a period of time and the process is repetitive, so the researchers decided to use Lego robots to create the artificial bone for them. | Windows Phone Tango Launching In China 21st March Posted: 14 Mar 2012 08:41 AM PDT Yesterday we heard that Nokia would be holding a Windows Phone event in China on the 28th of March, and now Microsoft has announced an event for the week before on the 21st of March. According to the guys over at Liveside, Microsoft will officially be launching Windows Phone 7.5 Tango on the 21st of March in China, although there is already one Windows Phone Tango handset available in China, the HTC Triumph.

| Asus Transformer TF101 Bug Fix Update Now Available Posted: 14 Mar 2012 04:23 AM PDT Asus recent,y released their Android 4.0 ICS update for their original Transformer TF101 tablet, after the update was released a number of users reported various problems with the device. | AT&T Galaxy Note Modded To Work On T-Mobile 4G Posted: 14 Mar 2012 04:08 AM PDT Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Note in the US, the device is available from US mobile carrier AT&T, and now one of the guys from the XDA Developers forum has modded the handset to work on T-Mobile’s 4G network. The AT&T Galaxy Note comes with HSPA+ bands that will work on T-Mobile’s HSPA+4G network, although the device is locked to AT&T, and now the device has been modded to work with T-Mobile.

What they do is take a standard aluminum case, and then pump 10,000 volts through the casing, which would be the same as if the device was struck by lighting.

| Nokia Lumia 900 To Land On AT&T 8th April? Posted: 14 Mar 2012 03:05 AM PDT We were expecting the Nokia Lumia 900 to be available from AT&T some time this month, although we heard earlier this week that it looks like it will land on AT&T in April, with April the 22nd as a rumored launch date. Now according to the guys over at The Verge, it would appear that AT&T may launch the Nokia Lumia 900 on the 8th of April, and this new apparently comes from an AT&T store manager.

Microsoft has unveiled a new development project called the Beamatron. The Beamatron is a Kinect enabled augmented reality projector that can project an image on to any surface and make the image react to the contours of that surface. For example an augmented reality car can drive over object placed within the room but recognise when it is going up or down slopes. | Apple’s Tablet Share Drops After Kindle Fire Launch Posted: 14 Mar 2012 02:51 AM PDT According to a recent report by research firm IDC, Apple’s share of the tablet market fell to 54.7 percent in the fourth quarter of 2011, which is down from the previous quarter where Apple’s share of the tablet market was at 61.5 percent. The report also mentions some information about Android’s share of the tablet market, which has increased due to the release of the new Amazon Kindle Fire tablet which took a 16.8 percent share of the tablet market in the same quarter.

| Samsung Is The Sole Supplier Of New iPad 3 Retina Display Posted: 14 Mar 2012 02:28 AM PDT Apple’s new iPad 3 goes on sale this Friday, and it would appear that Samsung is the sole supplier of the new Retina display for the iPad 3, which is interesting considering the various legal cases between the two companies. According to a recent report both LG and Sharp were also expected to be supplying the Retina display for the new iPad 3, although it would appear that both of them had problems meeting Apple’s quality standards.

| Spotify Family Subscription Plans Are Currently Being Prepared For Launch Posted: 14 Mar 2012 02:22 AM PDT Spotify has unveiled this week it plans to offer a family subscriptions in the future for its Premium service, according to comments made by Spotify’s Chief content officer, Ken Parks. The Verge technology website caught up with Ken Parks at SXSW this week after his “Future of Music” panel, and when questioned about the new family packages, explained they are “definitely coming.”. | Spotify Now Available In Germany Posted: 14 Mar 2012 02:20 AM PDT Spotify has announced that the popular music streaming service is now available in Germany, and the company are offering both paid and free subscriptions to their service to German customers. The pricing is the same as the rest of Europe, with the premium service costing 9.99 Euros per month, and the unlimited service costing 4.99 Euros per month, there is also the free service.

| Flutter For Mac Lets You Playback Your Tunes With Hand Gestures (Video) Posted: 14 Mar 2012 02:13 AM PDT Flutter is a new free program for OS X that lets you control your music on your Mac using hand gestures, the app works with your Mac’s web camera and you can play and pause music by moving your hand in front of the web camera. The application will work with iTunes and Spotify, and the video below shows Flutter in action, the application is currently in alpha, and it can be downloaded for free.

| HTC Confirms Which Smartphones Will Get Android 4.0 Posted: 14 Mar 2012 01:53 AM PDT HTC has updated their list of their Android smartphones that will be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update, and the list includes devices like the HTC Sensation XL, HTC Rhyme and more.
