This is a smart move for Apple, as they will now be able to offer two different tablets at two different price points, and by dropping the price of the iPad 2 by $100 to $399 they will make their iPad range more accessible. Which is equipped with a 17.3″ LED backlit 3D 1920 x 1080 resolution display with a 5ms response time and “the latest Intel processors and NVIDIA GPUs”. The Toshiba Qosmio X870 is fitted with a next-generation Nvidia graphics processor, and supports Nvidia’s 3D Vision technology, but Toshiba is keeping the exact specifications under wraps at the moment. Now the guys from 9 to 5 Mac have discovered that the Apple TV with the J33 reference number will retail for $99, which is the same price as the existing Apple TV, although the existing model now appears to be sold out in almost all of Apple’s retail stores.
