And now it would appear that the devices may not get the full version of Android 4.0, instead the update could include some of the features of Ice Cream Sandwich, sort of a ‘Lite’ version or ‘ValuePack’ version of ICS. Microsoft Testing Windows Phone SMS Bug Fix Posted: 29 Dec 2011 01:53 AM PST We recently heard that Microsoft were working on a software update that would fix the SMS security flaw found in Windows Phone smartphone devices, and now according to a recent report Microsoft is testing out the update. This would mean that if the testing of the update goes OK, Microsoft could release the update shortly, and if Microsoft finishes testing the update this week, we could see it launched some time next week. Apple To Launch Two iPads In 2012? Posted: 29 Dec 2011 01:06 AM PST According to a recent report by Digitimes, Apple intends to release two iPads in 2012, the first one would be a high end iPad 3 with a 9.7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, dual LED light bars and a new Apple produced A6 processor, plus an 8 megapixel camera. The report also says that the the other iPad that Apple will release will have similar specifications, and it will come with a 5 megapixel camera and will be cheaper that the first model.
