| White Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE Announced In South Korea Posted: 08 Dec 2011 04:41 AM PST Another new white smartphone from Samsung today, this time it is a white version of the Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE, which has been announced for South Korea, and it shares the same specifications as the original Galaxy S II HD LTE. As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE features a 4.65 HD Super AMOLED Display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and it features a dual core 1.5GHz processor and will come with Android Gingerbread.

| White Samsung Galaxy SII Lands On T-Mobile December 14th Posted: 08 Dec 2011 04:14 AM PST We heard a while back that the white Samsung Galaxy S II would be headed to US mobile carrier T-Mobile, and now T-Mobile has confirmed that the device will be available on their network from the 14th of December 2011. T-Mobile haven’t released any pricing about the white version, although the standard version retails for $229 when you sign up to a new 24 month contract, and we suspect it will be priced the same.

| T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 710 Discovered At the FCC Posted: 08 Dec 2011 03:03 AM PST We heard earlier today that Nokia and T-Mobile will hold a press conference next week, when the two companies are expected to announce T-Mobile’s new range of Nokia Windows Phone devices. We were expecting to see the Nokia Lumia 800 announced on T-Mobile next week, this may still happen, but we will most likely see the Nokia Lumia 710 announced for T-Mobile as the device has appeared at the FCC with T-Mobile branding.

| Unlocked Sony Ericsson Xperia Active Lands In The US Posted: 08 Dec 2011 02:38 AM PST Sony Ericsson recently launched the Xperia Active in Europe, and now an unlocked version of the smartphone is available in the US, and the device is designed to be used by outdoors types as it is waterproof and dust proof. The Xperia Active comes with a 3 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, it is powered by Google’s Android OS in the form of Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread and also comes with a 5 megapixel camera which can record HD video in 720p.

HP will sell the refurbished 16GB HP TouchPad for $99 and the refurbished 32GB HP TouchPad for $149, and they will be available from Sunday the 11th of December at 6.00pm Central time.

Facebook for Android now makes it easier to share photos from you Android device, the messaging part of the app has also been updated and you latest message notifications now appear at the top of your smartphones display.

| Posted: 07 Dec 2011 11:23 PM PST Some recent job postings for Apple may have revealed that Apple is working on a Siri API, although it isn’t clear whether Apple would open up this new Siri API to third party developers, allowing them to build Apple’s virtual voice activated assistant into their applications. The guys over at 9 to 5 Mac discovered the job listings, one of which you can see listed below, and it certainly would make sense for Apple to enable Siri to be used by third party developers, especially if they intend to use Siri in future devices like the rumored Apple TV.

| Nokia And T-Mobile To Announce Windows Phone Devices December 14th Posted: 07 Dec 2011 11:14 PM PST It looks like Nokia’s new Windows Phone smartphones are headed to US mobile carrier T-Mobile, as the company has sent out invites to a press event on the 14th of December, which is next Wednesday. Although the invite doesn’t actually mention Windows Phone devices, it is pretty obvious from the invitations design that Nokia and T-Mobile will be announcing Windows Phone smartphones.

| BlackBerry Milan Smartphone With BlackBerry 10 Leaked Posted: 07 Dec 2011 10:53 PM PST It looks like we have a photo of another leaked BlackBerry 10 smartphone, this one is called the BlackBerry Milan, and as you can see from the photo it features a slide out QWERTY keyboard. It is also rumored to feature a touchscreen display with a higher pixel density than that of the Apple iPhone’s Retina display, and it will of course come with the latest version of RIM’s mobile OS, BlackBerry 10.

The new update taking Goggles to version 1.7 now includes a continuous capture mode, allowing you to get results instantly without having to take a picture, and removing the need to press the devices camera to capture a picture. Even though the snapshot mode is still available the new continuous mode enables you to scan a scene continuously.
