Amazon is selling the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on a two year contract with Verizon for $149.99, which seems like a pretty good deal, and you also get a $100 Amazon ift card with the purchase.

| RIM Shipped Around 850,000 BlackBerry PlayBook Tablets In 2011 Posted: 16 Dec 2011 03:16 AM PST The BalckBerry Playbooks hasn’t exactly been as popular as RIM had hoped, and now we get to find out some details on how many of the BlackBerry Playbook tablet that RIM has shipped this year. According to a recent report by Liliputing, it looks like RIM may have shipped around 850,000 PlayBook tablets this year, with only around 150,000 shipped for the quarter ending on the 26th of November.

| Apple TV 4.4.4 Software Update Released Posted: 16 Dec 2011 02:49 AM PST As well as releasing iOS 5.0.1 and rolling out iTunes Match internationally, Apple has also released an update for the Apple TV, the latest version is Apple TV 4.4.4, and the update seems to add a range of performance and stability updates. Apple TV 4.4.4 also fixes an issue that displayed an error message when attempting to play some video content on your Apple TV, and that seems to be about all that is included in the update.

Amazon also said that this is the third consecutive week that they have sold more than 1 million Kindle Fire devices, which should mean that they will end up selling quite a few more than the rumored 5 million tablets by the end of the year.

| Apple’s iTunes Suffers Major Outage, Users Unable To Log In (Updated) Posted: 16 Dec 2011 01:38 AM PST Updated 10.09 AM (GMT) 16th December 2011 A number of our readers are reporting they are now able to log in to their iTunes accounts, we have just managed to log in as well and it looks like things may be back to normal. It looks like Apple are experiencing some problems with iTunes this morning, as a number of users are unable to log into iTunes from their Mac or PC, and when they try to log in they get a message saying their Apple ID or password is incorrect. I was in the process of installing iTunes Match, and just noticed this myself when trying to log into iTunes on my Mac, although I was able to log into iTunes on my iPhone, and was greeted with a new set of iTunes terms and conditions to agree to. | AT&T 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy Note Launching In January Posted: 16 Dec 2011 12:37 AM PST We recently heard that the Samsung Galaxy Note would be headed to AT&T, and now it looks like the device will launch on AT&T in January of 2012, although there will be a few changes to the device for AT&T. It looks like the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note will be a 4G LTE enabled device, and it will also feature a new processor over the existing GSM version, a Qualcomm dual core 1.5GHz MSM8660 processor.

| Posted: 16 Dec 2011 12:25 AM PST Dell recently decided to kill off their Dell Streak 7 and Dell Streak 5 tablets, and now it would appear the company is killing off another gadget, Netbooks, according to Brad from Liliputing. And it looks like Dell has now confirmed to The Verge that they will no longer be selling netbooks with a 10 inch display or smaller, so we can probably expect to see some new ultrabooks from Dell instead.

Apple has now released the iOS 5.0.1 update for iOS devices, and according to iPhone developer @MuscleNerd, the latest version of Apple’s iOS now makes it possible to port Siri to the iPhone 4 without any sort of piracy.
