According to research firm Strategy Analytics, Apple’s set top box, the Apple TV is the most popular device in the connected set top box market with around a 32 percent share of the market.

| Sony’s Z Series Android Walkman Appears At The FCC Posted: 13 Dec 2011 04:11 AM PST Sony’s latest Android Walkman, the Sony Z Series was announced a while back, and the device will go on sale in Japan later this month, and now it looks like this new Android Walkman is getting closer to its US release as the device has appeared at the FCC. As a reminder, the Sony Z Series Walkman comes with a 4.3 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, it will come with Android Gingerbread and is powered by a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.

| Sony Tablet S With 3G Lands In The UK Posted: 13 Dec 2011 03:57 AM PST The Sony Tablet S has been available for a while know, although the WiFi only version, Sony has now released the Sony Tablet S with 3G here in the UK, and the device is £100 more than the WiFi only version. The WiFi only Sony Tablet S is available with a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of storage, and it looks like the Tablet S 3G is only available with 16GB of storage and it will set you back £449 including taxes.

Enabling it to capture light as it travels down the length of a one-litre bottle and back again, after the light has bounced off the cap. | Google Engineer Builds Awesome LAN Party House Posted: 13 Dec 2011 03:43 AM PST If you are a serious gamer, what could be cooler than building your own LAN party house, that what Kenton Varda, a Google engineer decided to do, and as you can see in the photos below, Kenton’s house has 12 fold out computer stations. As well as the twelve fold out computer stations, which are spread out across two rooms, there are also two large TVs with various game consoles, and when not in use the computer stations can be easily hidden.

| Posted: 13 Dec 2011 03:06 AM PST If you are looking for a watch that it completely different than your average timepiece, then have a look at the Click keypad LED watch, which has obviously been inspired by a keyboards numeric keypad. If you push one of the numbers on the Click Keypad Watch, the time will blink on the individual keypad numbers, and it supports moth 24 hour and 12 hour time modes, and will also tell you the date.

| Verizon Xperia Play LTE Revealed? Posted: 13 Dec 2011 02:13 AM PST It would appear that Verizon are getting ready to launch a new version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play on their network in the US, the Xperia Play LTE, as some internal documents relating to the device have been discovered by the guys from Android Central. As a reminder, the Xperia Play features a FWVGA display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, there is also a 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8225 processor, plus 512MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM.

| Verizon And AT&T Testing Nokia Lumia LTE Windows Phone Smartphone? Posted: 13 Dec 2011 01:43 AM PST We are expecting to see the first Nokia Windows Phone smartphone announced for the US this week at a joint event with Nokia and T-Mobile, and Nokia said previously that we would see LTE enabled Windows Phone devices from them next year. Now according to a recent report from Cnet, both AT&T and Verizon are testing out LTE versions of Nokia’s Lumia 800 Windows Phone Device, although Windows Phone Mango doesn’t officially support LTE as yet.

| Windows Phone SMS Security Flaw Discovered (Video) Posted: 13 Dec 2011 01:24 AM PST According to a recent report by Win Rumors, a new security flaw has been discovered in Microsoft’s Windows Phone devices, and the flaw lets an attacker disable the messaging functions of your Windows Phone device. The attacker sends an SMS to the Windows Phone device, the device then reboots and the messaging hub is disabled, and it would appear that the security flaw is not device specific and happens to Windows Phone 7.5 Mango devices.

| Apple’s Mac App Store Hits 100 Million Downloads Posted: 13 Dec 2011 12:37 AM PST Apple has announced that the Mac App Store has now reached over 100 million downloads, pretty impressive considering that the Mac App Store was launched less than a year ago. Apple did not release any specific information about how many applications are available in the Mac App Store, although they did say there were over 500,000 applications available in their overall app store, which includes iOS apps and Mac apps.
