A new iPad application has been created that enables you to transform your Apple tablet in too a fully blown Hi-Fi music system. The BeatBlaster application includes a number of great features including a player which allows you to control all your audio. Asus Transformer TF101 Android 4.0 Update Lands In the UK

Earlier today we heard that Asus were rolling out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update in the US, and not it looks like the update has also started rolling out here in the UK.

According to the guys over at Euro Droid, a number of their readers in the UK and Ireland have started receiving the Android 4.0 update for their original Transformer tablet.

Nokia Takes Top Spot For Windows Phone Sales

Nokia has only had its Windows Phone devices available for a couple of months, and now according to a recent report by research firm Strategy Analytics, Nokia is top of the list of Windows Phone vendors for the last quarter of 2011.

According to the report, Nokia shipped around 900,000 Windows Phone devices, as opposed to 1.8 million Windows Phone devices from all other manufacturers for the last quarter in 2011.

Awesome Lego Millennium Falcon, Stop Motion Build Recreated In 3ds Max (video)

Lego builders out there are sure to enjoy this stop motion video of a Lego Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon kit #10179 being built, and recreated using 3ds Max.

The movie lasts around 3.30 minutes, but took three years to complete the full animation, in a Lego labour of love. Watch the Lego Millennium Falcon appear in front of your very eyes using 3ds Max, as every Lego piece slots in to place. Awesome!

Numark N4 Four Channel Controller Launches (video)

First unveiled in September of last year Numark’s new entry-level 4 channel all round DJ controller, the Numark N4. Has now arrived in stores and is available to purchase for around $500.

The new Numark N4 is configurable enabling you to use two of the four channels to control external decks, players and devices, and comes supplied with Serato's new DJ Intro software. Check out the video demonstration after the jump to see the new Numark N4, put through its paces.

Acer CloudMobile Android Smartphone In Action

We first heard about the Acer CloudMobile a couple of weeks ago, Acer will launch this new android smartphone at MWC 2012 next week and now we get our first look at the device thanks to a video from the guys over at Cellular Magazine (Italian).

The video below is in Italian, but we got a good look at the new Acer CloudMobile which will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and will be one of the first devices from Acer to use their new AcerCloud technology.

Google Rolls Out Improved Related Image Searches

Over the next few weeks Google will be rolling out a new update to its image search, that will provide users with a more refined method of locating related images within a search.

The new feature has been added to Google’s image search to help users explore a topic visually and easily see related images during a search. Building on the related search links that have been available for some, located at the top as blue links time whilst using Google search.

Samsung Working On A Bezel Free Galaxy B Smartphone?

We are expecting to see a number of new devices from Samsung at MWC 2012 next week, one device that we know for sure wont be appearing is the new Samsung Galaxy S III which is expected to launch later in the year.

Now details have been revealed of a new Samsung Galaxy device, which is reported to be codenamed the Samsung Galaxy B, and it could possibly be the Samsung Galaxy S III or maybe another new device.

Nuforce has this week unveiled its new NuForce Air DAC’s wireless system. Which is being designed to enable you to stream music from your computers USB port directly to a variety of different receivers.

Killzone 3 Multiplayer Becoming Free To Play From Next Week (video)

Mu Folding Plug Arrives In UK Stores This Month

A new space-saving folding plug which has been designed by South Korea-born Min-Kyu Choi, who studied product design at London’s Royal College of Art. Will be arriving in stores later this month.

Asus Transformer TF101 Android 4.0 Update Lands In The US

Yesterday Asus started rolling out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Transformer TF101 tablet to devices in Taiwan and said that other countries would follow shortly.

Now it would appear that Asus will be rolling out the update to the Transformer TF101 in the US from today, as Asus announced yesterday that the update would be available in the US today, and a number of users in the US have reported that the update has started rolling out.

Apple Working On New Micro Dock For iOS Devices?

Apple’s iPhone, iPad and its range of iPods use a 30 pin dock connector, and now according to a recent report by iMore, Apple is working on a new micro dock connector.

According to the report, this would give Apple more space inside future devices, which would make room for larger capacity batteries, 4G radios and more.

Google’s Rumored Nexus Tablet To Go Into Production In April?

We first heard that Google may be working on their own Android tablet a while back, and in January we heard that it would be called the Google Nexus tablet, following the same branding that they have for their Android smartphones which have been produced with various manufacturers.

We heard back in January that the device would feature a 7 inch display, and would be priced around the $199 range looking to take on Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet.

Lumus OE-31 Optical Engine Unveiled (video)

You might remember the Lumus DK-32 wearable display that was being showcased at CES earlier this year by Lumus. Now Lumus have revealed a little more information about their Lumus OE-31 Optical Engine which is used to create the heads-up-display (HUD) within the glasses.

The Lumus OE-31 Optical Engine can be used either in glasses, goggles or protective head gear to provide the users with more information via the HUD. Dropbox For Android Updated, Automatically Uploads Photos And Video

Dropbox has announced that their Dropbox for Android application now has some new features, which include the ability to automatically upload photos and videos direct to your Dropbox account.

The photos and video will automatically be uploaded to a private folder in your account which is called Camera Uploads, and the company has said that the service is also headed to Dropbox for Apple’s iOS devices.

Apple’s iCloud And MobileMe Push Email Disabled In Germany Due To Motorola Lawsuit

A German court ruled that Apple’s email push services were infringing on a Motorola patent earlier this month, and now it would appear that Apple has decided to disable push email on both its MobileMe and iCloud services.

Push email to MobileMe and iCloud will no longer work in Germany, although it looks like Apple have have disabled the service whilst they appeal the German courts ruling.

Apple Acquires Chomp, An App Search Company

Apple has acquired Chomp, and application search discovery platform, and it looks like Apple could have some big plans for the service, as it would appear the team behind Chomp will now be working at Apple.

According to TechCrunch, Chomp is also used to power Verizon’s Android based application searches, and whilst the current deal will remain in place, we suspect Verizon will have to look elsewhere in the future.

Proview Suing Apple In US Over iPad Trademark

Yesterday we heard that the case between Proview and Apple was put on hold in a court in Shanghai, after the court ruled that the case wouldn’t go ahead until the case in the high court in China is heard.

Now it would appear that Proview has decided to take its case against Apple to the US, the company has now filed a case against Apple in the Superior Court in the state of California.

Sony Offers Android 4.0 ICS Beta Rom For Xperia Arc S And More (Video)

Sony has released an official Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Beta ROM for some of its smartphones, which include the Sony Xperia Arc S, the Xperia Neo V and the Xperia Ray.

All of the three devices now have an official beta Android 4.0 ICS ROM, which anyone can download and install to their device, although Sony has said it is intended for ‘advanced developers only’.

LG’s New Optimus Smartphones In Action (Video)

LG recently announced a new range of smartphones which will be shown off at MWC 2012 next week, the line up includes the LG Optimus 4X HD, the LG Optimus Vu, and the LG Optimus 3D Max.

Box Offering 50GB Of Free Storage To Android Users

Box has announced that for the next month, anyone with a both account or who signs up for a new free Box account will get 50GB of free storage, the deal is only available to Android users.

Box normally offers 5GB of free storage, and they will be offering the 50GB of free storage until the 23rd of March 2012, to qualify all you need to do is download the latest version of Box from the Android Market.

EA Announces Medal of Honor: Warfighter

EA seems to be reprising its one-two punch strategy in its bid to claim the military FPS arena, today announcing the newest outing of the venerable Medal of Honor franchise: Warfighter. Blizzard Working On Free To Play Title

While Blizzard’s bread is firmly buttered by subscription fees at the moment, free-falling World of Warcraft subscriber numbers must at least have given the MMO giant pause. Develop is reporting that Blizzard will be continuing the march towards Free-to-play with its upcoming Project Titan. Blizzard has previously experimented with this business model by giving away the first 20 character levels of World of Warcraft.
