| Motorola Loses 3G/UMTS Patent Case Against Apple Posted: 10 Feb 2012 03:45 AM PST Motorola and Apple have been battling it out in a German court over the last few weeks, the company tried to enforce an injunction against Apple last week, that would stop Apple selling some of its iPhone and iPad products in Germany, the device went back on sale the same day. Motorola has a number of different lawsuits going against Apple, and a court in Germany has just thrown one of the major ones out of court saying that Apple’s doesn’t infringe on the patent.

| Posted: 10 Feb 2012 03:33 AM PST Roku has announced that its range of media players are now available in the UK, with two different versions available the Roku 2 XS and the Roku LT, with prices starting at £49.99 for the Roku LT and £99.99 for the Roku 2 XS. Both of the two streaming devices come with up to forty different channels of streaming content, and Roku has just signed a deal with the BBC to bring their BBC iPlayer to Roku devices here in the UK.

| Microsoft Stops Taking Nokia Lumia 900 Pre-orders At Stores Posted: 10 Feb 2012 02:46 AM PST We recently heard that Microsoft was taking pre-orders of the new Nokia Lumia 900 in their Microsoft Stores in the US, customers were able to pre-order the device by paying a $25 deposit. The Nokia Lumia 900 will be available from AT&T in March, and now Microsoft has stopped taking pre-orders of the device in their stores after just one week, and they haven’t explained why the have stopped taking orders.

| Verizon Software Updates For Five Droid Devices Announced Posted: 10 Feb 2012 02:11 AM PST Verizon Wireless has announced that it will be releasing a range of software updates for five of its Droid devices which include smartphones and tablets, and the updates are designed to fix a number of bugs and also provide battery improvements. The updates will be available for the Droid Bionic, the Droid Xyboard 10.1 and 8.2, the Droid RAZR Maxx and the original Droid RAZR, with some of the updates being released immediately.

| Windows 8 On ARM Gets Detailed (Video) Posted: 10 Feb 2012 01:10 AM PST Microsoft has revealed more information on Windows 8 on ARM which it calls WOA, and the company has said that WOA devices should start shipping at the same time as PCs designed for x86/64 chipsets. | HTC Announces Android 4.0 ICS Update Coming To Some Devices In March Posted: 10 Feb 2012 12:29 AM PST HTC announced a while back that they would be releasing the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for some of their devices this year, and now HTC has confirmed on their Facebook page, that the Android 4.0 update will land in March on certain devices. HTC has said that the update will roll out by the end of March, and the devices to get the update include the HTC Sensation, the HTC Sensation 4G, HTC Sensation XE, shortly followed by the HTC Sensation XL.

| Another Google Wallet Security Flaw Discovered (Video) Posted: 10 Feb 2012 12:00 AM PST Yesterday we heard that the PIN security on Google Wallet had been cracked on rooted Android devices, and now a new security flaw has been discovered in Google wallet, although this one affects all users of Google Wallet. The new security flaw was discovered by the guys from The Smartphone Champ, and this one seems to be a lot more easier to access, as all that has to be done is reset the data in the Google Wallet application on your Android device.
